Re: September Photo Competition

Well picked the car up this morning and it was everything I expected! Love it.
Trouble is I haven't seen it since. Had some work come in that I couldn't get out of. And the wife took it out for a drive. Haven't seen it since, so the big trouble now is that my wife loves it just as much as me!

I have to know, did you get the "big reveal" or is that a thing of the past?

No, handed me the keys. Tried to tell me a few things then realized she didn't have a clue. Even down to telling me I had to use the key to open the filler cap (not the central locking, she spent a few minutes trying to find the keyhole on the cap)

Well finally got my hands on the car this evening. Gave it a quick wash and polish in between the rain. Took it for a drive over to Newquay and down around St Ives. Wow such a different car to anything I've ever had!

Quick snap out of the living room window (we live in an upside down house)

One thing you all maybe able to help me with. There's a loud clunk noise when I'm reversing and I turn to full lock (both left and right) Any ideas??

Looking good  Hope you've had a fab day.

Can't say i've noticed any loud clunk on mine. I'll try it out tomorrow with reversing on full lock.

Cheers mate.

It goes back to the dealer in 3 weeks for a free check up to make sure everything is ok. Will see how it goes and let them know.
If it needs a fix I have to say I'm not fazed. These things happen. Christ my insignia lost all power including electrics doing..erm..70 in the fast lane 2 months after I bought it. But after that I had just under 3 years of trouble free motoring ( more or less).

Re: September Photo Competition

:) flipper blue looks lighter on the facelift over rizzo's original which some how seems much darker.

She looks stunning and I can't wait to see some of the images that I know a man of your talent can take.

Anyway, here's your formal welcome to Team Flipper...best team out there (now that the A Team have retired)! :D

Thanks mate. I'm waiting for this awful rain to clear off to get some shots.

I have to admit, I wanted the black or red when we first went to order but my better half told me blue was the one to have with silver arches. And she was right! Now I have it its a beautiful colour that photos online just don't do it justice!

Sun came out long enough to polish and put sealant on. It may be bog standard to most rcz on the forum but I love it!
Jassy, you were right about the insignia being sloppy on bends. I didn't think it was until I got this and through it around some country lanes
