Stubborn Water Marks

My roof arches are starting to show some water marks that are a bit stubborn to remove, I can polish out the majority but some are more difficult, I use Autoglym super resin polish then a wax but the arches are still starting to show these marks, any ideas on how to remove And prevent them without damaging the finish on the arches.

Dodo juice supernatural polish! Great finish on arches without damaging them!!!

Or you can be brave and polish them via machine, then seal them with c1 :)

Ok thanks guys.
Jass the water marks are on the chrome arches after washing the car or if its rained, as soon as the arches dry out you can see the water marks.
I think I will try GTECHNIQ P1 and then seal with C1.
Not sure where to get this from though as Dainelll said they not taking orders due to a fire ?
Ebay perhaps. :eusa-think:
Anyway at least I got something to work with cos these marks were really starting to get annoying.

Ps.
Who makes C1 ? is it Gtechniq

Just looked at some other threads on here regarding the arches and using GTECHNIQ P1, some say its a cutting polish, is it ok to use it on the arches :eusa-think:
I only have water marks no swirls or scratch's.
I dont really want to cut into the paint just to remove the water marks.

The more you work it the more it cuts!

You'll look like mr Hyde (Jekyll and Hyde) and have one huge arm and one little one!

Mrs H has just read this and thinks I should put an order in for at least 20 ltrs

On a serious note though, I'm not too sure I want to "cut" into the finish at all :eusa-think:
I only want to remove the water marks that stain the arches. Autoglym Super Resin Polish has removed most of them but there are a few that remaim :(
The Autoglym SRP doesnt cut either. But I just need something with a bit more punch without cutting. :eusa-think:
Ive heard that DoDo Lime Prime Lite is good and does not cut. :eusa-think:
Theres so much stuff on the market that it all just gets confusing

They all have light abresives in that if you put some effort in will remove some of the surface!

Even DoDo Lime Prime Lite ?
Surely theres something out there without abrasives that can remove a stain, because thats all a water mark is :eusa-think:
What about Dodo juice supernatural polish, that you used, is that clear of abrasives :?:
These arches are so delicate :?

Dodo juice lime prime has no abrasives that I know of but it's not a polish it's a per-wax cleanser

Supernatural metal polish does contain abresives!

I machined mine removing about 3um's of paint then sealed with c1
Great results still a few deeper scratches!

I don't want to sound rude but I don't believe you don't have any marks at all.

Autoglym super resin polish mask swirls and scratches so I theory you believe you have nothing on the arches but remove the make-up and it's actually Susan Boyle underneath there.

But if it looks good then that's all that matters :)

Jass I have found that the screenwash spray stains the arches too.
I reckon I just need a product strong enough to clean away the staining without any cutting, then I will reapply the wax I normaly use , which is a DoDo wax but I cannot remember which one.
AGSRP does remove most but not the stubborn ones. Ive checked the spec of AGSRP and it does not contain any abrasives, which for me is all that I want from a polish at the moment because the rest of the car is fine.
I really wouldnt want to use a machine on the arches for fear of making things worse, as they are so delicate, and in any case its just these water marks that I want to remove, I dont think theres a need to cut into the arches unless there are scratch's, which at the moment luckily I do not have, at least nothing that can be seen with the naked eye.
Anyway Ive now ordered a small bottle of the DoDo Lime Lite Cleanser ( £14  )to see how it performs and will let you know. :eusa-think:

Ive not had the windows tinted yet simply because of my work pattern and getting time to go and sort it, but it's definitely on the cards m8.
