Still No Build Date Ordered 3rd May

Not having a build date does not mean that it has not been built or that it's not on the schedule for tomorrow. Several members on here have been trying to get a build date unsuccessfully and then get a call to say that it's built and being delivered. Stay calm, the RCZ is waiting for

When I drove the dealer mad pestering for a build date, I was finally given the 24th June. The car was actually built before that date and was deliered to me on 3rd July. It is about 2 weeks from build inAustria to delivery to the customer. You will forget all the waiting when it comes, it really is worth waiting for, please don't cancel.

I keep asking getting no where, when I purchased they said Max time it would take would be 3 months 12 weeks, still no build date and its 18th July :( starting to lose hope, you ordered yours in March and u only just picked it up in July ?? that's 4 months - 16 weeks, that's a long time to wait, do other car companys take this long seems crazy ?

Around 12 weeks is what's stated. It could be slightly more it could be less. You will find most car manufacturers have lead times of 12 weeks, sometimes many more so don't despair. Patience really is a virtue and is really worth the wait :)

Hi there, I ordered about 23rd March and got it on 3rd July. I think that is about 14 weeks. I thought mine was slightly above average wait because it is an automatic. However, it may be that as a result of the advertising at the beginning of the year, the order book is stronger and hence the slightly longer wait.

Hold tight, you really are nearly there, and once you have it the wait will be completely forgotten in the euphoria of ownership. I know because I was as demented as you with the apparently interminable wait!

Well...my mate just ordered a brand new Mk7 Golf GTD two weeks ago. When will it arrive...? In the middle of January!!!! Peugeot’s wait time is exceptional. Frustrating I know but the wait is well worth it!!

maybe you must wait that mine arrives. As I said, I've ordered mine 2 weeks before you, and I am in the same situation as you, no build date...think that when mine arrives, you must wait only other 2 weeks

My brother had similar when he ordered a Vauxhall Ampera when they first came out. His was the first top spec car to come into the UK. Took around 10 months for him to get it! Fff...forget that!

I have a delivery date in September for my RCZ. Exactly a 3 month wait....and I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting...... :p

Would keep you in that holiday mood, knowing that you have a new car to look forward to, with the latest registration too  You dodn't need it before you go as it will only be sitting on the driveway.

You are the customer. Of course you can ask/tell them of your decision. I'm sure they will want to register in early to get their August figures up, but remember who is buying the car and who the customer is :eusa-think:
