I know the same group that RCZ-R refers to, and have seen them race - several times.

They are very experienced and have some support from Peugeot Sport.

On that basis, I’d set quite a lot of store by what they say.

I think I'll stick to just doing a cat back system and then a stage 1 map.

I agree. Go for cat back and put some proper software on the ECU.
I wonder if Comkotes provide support for the RCZ R?

I had a chat with the boss about stage 1 on my R. They do it on rolling road. Output is about 280 bhp. They claim it is a healthy number for the engine and the gearbox/clutch.
But as of now it doesn't make any sense to apply it to my car as I'm parting with my R soon (summer?).

Sounds like your wasting your money putting a different cat on if the original is good for 300 ponies your not going to want anymore than that Mick :thumbup:

It does doesn't it, no point getting a cat back system either if all I want is a different sound. ?

Cat back system you can take out the centre resonator that’ll give you the sound your after :thumbup:
