Can’t order just one pipe ?

I believe the red one on the picture is the silicone one, the black one is the original. The photo is just comparison between the original and the custom.

sorry that’s not what was getting at what I meant was as your looking at the engine on the left side u have another plastic pipe that goes to the air box an does this pipe suffer like the one on the right of the engine bay from breaking up inside ?

the rigid pipe on the left above the distribution does not go to the air filter but to the intake manifold, this one does not move, on the other hand this original shape is not ideal for good air circulation this is why, as I did forge at the time, I am remaking it in aluminum

Which pipe was this ? My pipe from the air box to cold intake on turbo is a bit scaly inside but nothing like that in your pics , where mine failed was on the rubber seal between the pipe an the turbo but Iv sleeved it with a silicone joiner an is working fine for now

It has been a while since it occurred but if I remember correctly it was pipe no. 4 as on the blueprint attached to the first post here.

the one to enter air filter and turbo should not delay to be delivered, the other 3 not before the end of July just like the high volume intercooler

Very nice I’d got black though as I want a stock look, do you get any issues with not having the heating wire not being able to be used

none, the heater does not give a fault code if not connected

Just going of the subject a bit I see you got the dreaded pink dust on your engine from the fibreglass matting attached to the alloy shield , well I took mine off an replaced it with some heat shield blanket cut to shape to fit under the alloy to give it more protection from frying the cam cover gasket from flee bay an no more dust
