Hello.
I launched production of silicone hoses dedicated to R.
Two are already available, the one between air filter and turbo, and the descent to the intake manifold whose diameter has been slightly increased but above all now well rounded, for those with a 156 with forge kit it will be a plus, for 200 and 270 this removes the sound-system which restricts the passage of air.
test done on two thp200 there is a real gain at low speed, the air circulating better in a well rounded duct.
at the same time, I also have an aluminum hose no longer manufactured.
A large volume intercooler compatible 200 and 270 will arrive later via a different orifice plate.

the project is progressing well, in addition to the hoses already available, the intercooler has entered the design phase via 3D boxes

Congrats on doing this business! Providing parts for this extraordinary car is a bliss!

You should point out to R owners that the stock hoses connecting to the R intercooler are prone to falling apart on the inside. Due to ingress of engine oil into the surface on the inside of that hose it falls apart and can crumble into small plastic-like pieces which then fly around in the intake causing issues.
So those pipes would be the first one I would swap on my R.

the pipe on the flow meter side just loosen it, then the hose comes out relatively easily

I wonder if the pipe from the intercooler to the airflow meter suffers from the same issue as the air box to intake an breaks up inside as it does not recycle the engine omissions?
