Hello all,
Just registered to this forum as it seems the biggest RCZ community around. I have an RCZ 1.6 156pk since March 2011. After a couple of months I started to hear a weird noise coming from the right side of the car (passenger side in my part of Europe
) only when I go 120 km/h or faster.
I already read the vent rattle topic here, but that doesn't seem to be it. I also read something about resonating JBLs (I have JBL) but the problem in my car is, the rattle also occurs when the audio is off.
It seems to be coming from the back side, although hard to locate, as it happens only at 120 km/h and faster. And I haven't taken anybody with me that would crawl in the back side and check yet.
I also read about someone putting down the back seat and back up again and a noise going away. I'll try that, but I doubt it's that as the sound seems to be coming more from the side.
The sound is something more of a resonance than a real rattle. It sounds slightly familiar to wind noise, but it isn't. And it is also not triggered by bumps or something. Just a continuous resonance from 120 km/h and onwards.
Thanks for any feedback!
