Well maybe we all have to reside ourselves to the fact that we will not see any real RCZ replacement or in fact any Sports orientated car coming from the factories of Peugeot, whilst....
Brexit dare I say it is screwing with the markets in Europe, but most importantly whilst we are it seems in a massive depression and there is no spare cash floating around unless you are a footballer or singer.
We can only hope that the economies turn around but will it be to late for the ice engine, if the electrifiers get there way ( and it's happening ), we will see the ice replaced with an electric motor.
A lot can be said about the demise of the ice engine ( that's a bit like saying PC computer isn't it? ) what will happen to prices of our beauties, will we be able to afford to run them when the fuel inflates to a ridiculous amount or the taxes imposed by the enviromental agencies mean we cannot afford to buy it. Then what happens to our cars? all those thinking I'm going to hang on to mine as it will be a classic, yes true it very may end up a classic, but only the rich and famous will be able to afford one, and they will still prefer to have your bigname marques under the roofs of their heated garages or showroom.
SO quick all get your adverts written now, autotrader beware the wave of extra adverts is coming soon....
This being said, I don't want to rid myself of the joy this car brings me, plus I cannot really afford a super sports car.
the smile I have when I drive it, the look on peoples faces when I drive by, ( they missed out but could so easily afford one ) the boost to my ego when I hear a favourable comment. All these factors mean I WILL be hanging on to mine for the foreseable future. RIP Peugeot Motion & Emotion.
