For what it is worth, I shall give you my slant on face lifting the RCZ. I do not believe it will happen at all and my reasons for this believe are as follows.
The RCZ is being built by a third party not Peugeot. So I think that an arrangement/contract/deal has been struck. So Peugeot have placed an order for, say for arguments sake 100,000 to be built, over a period of say 5 years. So that is the deal, the machinery to produce the car has been built and is churning them out. The third party will already be in talks with a car manufacturer to build something in the space currently occupied by the RCZ production line, so production will cease.
They will not spend money putting a new nose cone on, because the cost would be extortionate, new machinery for limited numbers remaining to be built, the cost of R & D and then type approval in all the relevant countries. Safety testing etc ect ect. IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN
They will get close to the final production figure and bring out a super deluxe special edition (all the bells & whistles on it) to get rid of the last remaining few and then Bye Bye RCZ

As this is a car forum and not a political one I shall limit my response to "vote for devolution if you think that you can afford to"

Hi Ron l read your slant on the facelift but Ron not all rcz exteriors are unique to the rcz the front bumper for example belongs to the 308 cc that too has received a wee nip and tuck the front and rear bumpers are cheaply and easily changed on any car so expect the same plus a few interior changes to happen to the rcz before April 2013 and l will take your pearl diver

Are you saying a 308 nose will fit my RCZ?

Try it on for size listen

It's all wish full thinking on your behalfs that you think lt won't get a new front badge and bumper soon why l haven't a clue no car goes through its production cycle without it being refreshed delusion's of grandeur comes to mind the front bumper is of the same design as are the headlamps of the
2011 308 cc and the wing mirrors are from the Citroen c5 the dashboard 90% of which is the 308's all th :Moony: these parts can be changed quickly and cheaply by Peugeot

Jassy has a point :). Why would Peugeot leave their so called flagship model looking outdated from the rest of its range - it wouldn't make sense. If they want to attract new buyers then they need to update it a little just as a natural progression.

Because it has a limited production run. The flag ship vehicle will be the next generation RCZ. However they need not call it RCZ mark 2. What is it with car models? They call a car say Astra MK3 when it could just as easily be called Vauxhall Belmont. As it bares little similarity to the previous Astra and could be considered a different model altogether. So I think that the RCZ was a step into a different pond for Peugeot and it's next step will be more akin to the SR1. The RCZ has shown that Peugeot can tempt a new breed of car buyers and that they will attempt to keep the RCZers and pick up more along the route of limited production niche cars.
