Re: RCZ1, you naughty devil!!
Hi all' ..and congrats to the 1 on getting her dream R- spec Z' as getting a fave car is always dream realised and this is the third time her lustful car dreams have come true and I'm sure it will be treated with the same level of detail that her previous Z's have been treated with her mystical beauty enhancing potions. ..Tell me your secrets ,,just the detailing ones i meant!
HOWEVER, it saddens me to say the the Z' hasn't quite had the same thrill for me during my 1.5 years of ownership due to mine having been beset with a wrath of the common faults that we all know about BUT are of course denied by Peugeot :eusa-shhh: ,,yeah I said it !
Even though my repairs have been taken care of via my third party warranty company so the expense has been minimal to myself, the time and aggravation has been very real

especially when I reminise many MANY years trouble free Celica ownership

. I always know when I'm not as happy with a car as I should be as I find myself researching my next car and i've been doing that for some time because happy car ownership is about trust and alas I haven't found that with my Z' no matter how much I have tried whilst also enjoying my perch on the Forum back benches.
I know and appreciate that all cars have their faults BUT I feel the THP engine due to its general reliability in respect of its common well documented Forum listed faults whether they occur in a our favoured Z' or in a DS3 or Mini. Im not wishing to offend in anyway as I still think that the Z' looks dare I say it sensual and unique plus it has me taking that sneaky second glance as I walk away BUT regrettably what lies under the bonnet doesn't inspire me with trust & confidence! MAYBE when i've had the timing cover oil seal leak repaired I will feel differently ,,,until the next time as I've had the other faults I've researched on the Forum to see whats possibly left.
I believe that mrizzle amongst others has felt similar pains of trust & confidence of the ilk that keep me well acquainted with my Peugeot service dept and ultimately could take no more :brickwall:
.the big blue (..anyway back to my 'back bencher perch' to dream of my Z' no longer bleeding the black gold)
