Fantastic mate. But which one was the best? ;-)VASS said:Had some fun with a mate of mine and his new 350

Likewise!!! For me personally it was a very weird experience. I got out of the 350 test drive thinking 'that was nice' but I had no desire to get back in it, hence going for the RCZ instead. Some cars just have that x-factor and some don't...and its different for everyone.JWT said:Haha, these were the two cars I was looking at when looking at getting a new car!...

Glad to see I wasn't alone!
For me the Z swayed it by having a large enough boot to fit one of these in easily

Although it is TECHNICALLY possible in a 350z, but the support beam in the back makes it difficult. You have to move the driver and passenger seats all the way forwards and wedge it between the seats and the support bar
Since then, however, I prefer the looks of the RCZ from the back. I think if you merged the front end of the 350z and the rear of the RCZ you'd have an amazing car.
As long as it was that Nissan coloured blue![]()

Strange how we're all the same yet we're all different! It's the exact opposite for me, I've had to compromise in the RCZ. My steering wheel clips the top of the fuel and temp gauges but if I have it where I prefer it those gauges are totally obscured. I guess the ideal would be an independently adjustable binnacle.hanswuk said:stevebasshead said:Yeah the interior doesn't have the quality feel or style of the RCZ. It took me ages to find a seating position which was both comfortable and enabled me to see the temp and fuel guages properly!
mrizzle said:Not wishing to sidetrack this but I've always found the RCZ's driving position a little bit of a weakness. I have to sit so far back and so low as the pedals are so high and I need the head clearance yet the steering rake is so high that the dials are partially obscured and the steering rake doesn't pull out far enough unless you were to have disproportionately long arms. I've gotten used to it now so it bothers me much less but I do find it occasionally niggling.
