More miles today. About 200 ish.
Oban to fort William then on to Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness. Raining obviously.

The Z enjoying the view..

On a side note.
Just ran out of English petrol on a rather fabulous 46mpg.

That'll be Loch Ness your Z is sat looking at eh?

at least the rain will keep the midges down.

Great trip, I'd love to do the highlands right at the top, some lovely deserted beaches so I'm told, though again the local midges seem to like the beaches too ! More Scots who don't like the Brits, mind you even the British midges don't like me !

Keep em coming Iain and safe driving.

Yes, that's one of the reasons I want to go, would like to do the Scottish 500.

I went to work in the R today and when i came back I was pleasantly surprised to see 48.6mpg as my average for the past 200 miles.

On the way home now via a night in Penrith.
Pub just 2 minutes from the guest house, perfect.

Had to stop in gretna green on the way to let bugger lugs have a look.

Although we stopped there last time we went to Scotland and nothing seems to have changed.

Just got in. 1200 miles in total.
And we've left the rain, it's currently 29 degC here.
