RCZ R

This mornng I got a phone caal from my Peugeot dealer...
He told me he had an RCZ R and if I want I could take it out for a spin...

I told him I had to think about :?

No that's a lie, I told him I will be there in 5 minutes :dance:

I pick up the car and went for a one hour test drive...

Best hour in the last couple of mounths

I have a THP200, but you can feel the differnce from the first second...

The engine has more torque and even with differential you can feel this.
The THP200 is not slow but the THP270 is really quick for a 1,6L engine.

The breaks are bite even more...

In the corners I can't reallytell the difference...

If you are planning to buy an RCZ, save a little bit more and buy the THP270 it's really money well spend

For me it's difficult to compare the sound, because i have a complet Rüffer exhaust line under mine THP200, soo the sound in my RCZ is better

But it seem a litte bit louder then the THP200.

The road noise is simmular

One things is really beter and that is the seats, they fit like a glove.
The bottom of the seat is longer so more and better support of the legs

I'm very envious! It sounds great and the seats do look great.

It's good of your dealer though - you've recently bought a new one is that correct? Not sure you'd be one of the first people I'd call to come and test drive it :crazy: maybe they are thinking more long term than I thought they would be :thumbup:

Yes my Typ200 is from May 2013 and yes They know I will buy one sooner or later...
With this test drive They hope it will be sooner instead of later

But on the 5th next mounth my Thp200 will be fitted with a Forge intercooler and remap
Normaly the result will be 240 to 250 BHP with ca 350nm torque

Did you notice on the test drive if the car's suspension felt much stiffer? And did that result in a more 'uncomfortable' ride? The roads here in the UK are very poor and that is an aspect of the R which concerns me.

I have 20" wheels on my RCZ, zo They is even stugger.

But when is sport car in generaal comfortable

Yes this is about how it sound, but my THP200 with Rüffer exhaust sounds better

Yeah it's is huge and that is one of the things I don't like so much about the car....
