I don't have an R, just THP200. Unfortunately, since I have been a member of this forum and Facebook group since 2019 I can only remember Desira Peugeot Bury St Edmunds mentioned as recommended by a couple of previous R owners.
That's where i went to get my PSE from, much to their surprise as i live 2 miles away from the main dealer in Norwich!

We're trying to decide where best to get my wife's new-to-her RCZ R serviced when it's due.

Can any Peugeot dealership service an RCZ R, or are there any who specialise in the R models? Any recommendations for Peugeot dealerships in the Hampshire area with expertise in RCZ R servicing? We're in Winchester, but happy to travel for the right garage.

We got a quote for a 3-service Service Plan from the dealership where she bought the car (and which is a 2.5-hour round trip away), but it didn't include spark plugs, and seems as if it might be for a non-R RCZ. (Cost was £934 for 2 x Minor Service, 2 x Major service, 3 x Pollen Filter, 2 x Brake Fluid, 3 x MoT).

We also got a quote from our nearest dealers, which was more expensive (£1192.68) and did include the spark plugs - but not the MoTs.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience of Peugeot MD in Hampshire area only Cambridgeshire. How ever my experience with my local Peugeot Dealer Marshals servicing on my R was atrocious. They tried to rip me off. I bought my car from them but their after sales was awful, really bad. They claimed my Peugeot Warranty valid for 2 years had expired after one year when it hadn't and denied me a £20 MOT when it came around despite them giving me MOT cover and tests at £20 as part of the Peugeot warranty. They wanted £54 and they couldn't do it for 3 weeks. I took it elsewhere. They tried to sell me a service plan of £799 for 2 services which was a rip off and didn't include parts e.g. plugs which they wanted to charge me an eye watering sum on top. They said this was the cost of owning a high performance car such as the RCZ-R. For their service plan they based my mileage on 10k and I told them I don't even drive that kind of mileage in my main car also a Peugeot. I said I would be looking at max 2,500-3,000 each year maybe even less as my R is NOT my main car. They said if didn't have it serviced by them my warranty would be invalidated. They told me a minor service with them would cost £330 and a major service £599 which is WAY more than Peugeot's own fixed servicing costs which are considerably less, but they said these fixed service costs didn't apply to the R owing to it's high performance engine which was a load of BS on their part! They couldn't have been less interested in tailoring a package for me and my usage of my R. All they wanted to do was fleece me.

Like your wife's R mine is also a low mileage car that I want to maintain a full MD service history for. So to get it serviced and achieve this I found a local Citroen MD Purser and Luxford which was actually a little nearer to me and they now service my R as part of the PSA fixed servicing plans. It is £179 for a minor service and £279 for a major service. My service book is stamped up and my Peugeot warranty still remains in tact. I asked them to check the brake fluid and coolant and don't believe Marshal's had checked it let alone changed it. The brake fluid needed changing but the coolant was still ok. Engine oil and all filters changed for £179. They did an Anti Rust Proliferation check and the service book has been stamped as well which Marshals had just ignored. I called Peugeot themselves to check before hand to see if using a Citroen dealer was ok and they said not a problem as Citroen is also part of the PSA group and can service the RCZ. The Peugeot head office guy also confirmed my Peugeot warranty was indeed 2 years as the guy at Marshals who had sold me the car (since left the dealership) had done his job and registered it with Peugeot and printed out a copy of certificate for me which Marshals service department then refused to accept. I also complained to Peugeot about the Marshals MD my bad experience with them and especially their rip servicing prices and refusing to honour Peugeot's own fixed price servicing being a Peugeot MD. The guy at Peugeot said he would look into it but I don't know if anything would come of it. I've not heard anything since.

I then called Marshals back after my car was serviced else where and told them what I thought of them. The service manager guy then tried to rubbish other MDs especially Citroen although part of the PSA group he claimed they don't have experience and expertise of dealing with the RCZ and especially the R as they don't have the training or full range of diagnostic tools. This is not what the guy at Peugeot told me. The Marshals service guy came across as a total and utter w****r and his female colleague who told me my Peugeot warranty had expired when it hadn't was totally incompetent! I shall never set foot in their dealership ever again. The Citroen MD I now use could not do enough for me when I took my R to them. The car was properly valeted after as well not that it was dirty anyway. I was impressed. When I dropped it off they were serving an ancient Jag, XK140 I think. There was also an old Porsche 911 and Triumph Vitesse waiting in their car park to be serviced as well as Citroens, BMWs and Peugeots of all sorts. Hopefully I have found a garage that actually cares for cars it works on and treats it's customers well.

So to sum up you can also use the Citroen MD network as well as they are also part of the PSA group. Maybe there is one in your area Hampshire that is good?Your Peugeot Warranty will also remain intact.

Anyway I hope this is of help.

I think this line of coirespondence is akin to the dreaded Politics/Religion taboo!

Well left alone - otherwise our friendly web site will degenerate into the bitching of most other owner forums!

Got my annual pain to keep the Warranty intact. The dreaded service at a MD. Don't like dropping the car off, leaving it with strangers and basically with what feels like 'a blank cheque' for an oil and filter change@£180 notes....don't need plugs as only 1K miles on them and the filter is a Pipercross...oh well wonder what courtesy car I will get this year as last they wouldn't due to Covid

. So I'm afraid that I will never be buying your car.
I have had my GT200 for almost 8 years now. It was on a main dealer service contract until this year. I have never been overly happy about the work carried out by my MD, in fact I have had to complain or take the car back on more than one occasion.
I had my car serviced this year by a local very reputable garage that I had recommended to me by more than one friend. They also carried out the MOT.
I was very impressed with them, and will be using them again next year.

As for buying a car from @Pedro , I think I would be far happier buying one from him than from you.
I have read Pedro’s advice in replies for some considerable time now, and I suspect he knows far more about car servicing than you do, and possible more than a lot of MD’s.
You are happy to blindly use a MD (who might well have a bad reputation unbeknown to you) rather than an indie who has a very good reputation locally.
I realise you are seeking information about dealers in your area to avoid this happening, but I’m not sure you are going about it in the best possible way.
Antagonising established members is not likely to win you many friends.

Well said mate local indie for me too, build a trust with them, my mechanic is a friend of mine charges me mates rates, but always uses genuine parts, and always does a good job, taking my z to him on Sunday to re seal my leaking sump, which I've only had back 7 weeks from the garage I bought it from for which the man said Al has been done, which was t chain, rocker cover gasket, they did replace oil cooler/filter, so why after 2 weeks my z was leaking oil, could not bother less contacting them again my mechanic said lot of oil there mate bloody cowboys, anyway repair the leaky sump new oil filter, and psa b71 2290 standard 5w30 oil, and off on a road trip safe in the knowledge my z is good, I'd never use md also be wary of car dealers who can fob you off as well😳😳 everyone enjoy you're z's happy driving👍👍

Are you still paying for the Pug Warranty?

It ran out at the beginning of this month. I could have renewed it for another 2 years until the car was 10 years old, then it’s no longer available. I decided to bank the £ thirty something each month instead. The car is hardly covering any mileage these days since we bought the Range Rover, so it didn’t seem like it was economic sense any more. 🤞

Yep mine is up end of the month renewal is £320pa has like yours paid out well exceeding the warranty cost to me, but then again all the biggies that seem to crop up have been done hpfp, clutch/flywheel, front springs. Probably will renew it, if nothing else if I decide to sell (who am I kidding) it will be an incentive as warranty is transferable plus it will be my luck the turbo or something will go.

Just got back from MD a very positive experience.....service and MoT no nothings so all good for another year, well 6months as car is in the garage for the Winter. Had a 2008 courtesy car in burnt orange a 1,2T was pretty impressed tbh comfortable, good looking and held the road really well.

A rarity,,,,,was behind a 2015 plate RCZ on the way back from Eastbourne to Heathfield.....a Moroccan like mine but the GT-Line with silver arches.
