I have a Peugeot RCZ 1.6 THP 156 (156bhp) Petrol (16v) FWD (1598cc) - T75 (2010-2016) Coupe (Year: 2012). She has covered 31,000 miles.
There is a persistent vibration coming from the engine, felt both when driving and when stationary. This has been looked at by a trusted service garage who say they are familiar with the engine as they service them in Peugeot and Mini cars. When I took the car in to them they also had another Peugeot in with the same engine, a 308 if I remember correctly. They fired that up and compared vibrations, both cars had similar vibrations, which are mainly felt through the steering wheel as a high frequency vibration which on a longish drive seems to make my finger tips tingle. The car is in good condition fully serviced with no obvious issues. The service tech took the fact that both cars had the same vibration as a sign there was nothing to be done, but it could be there is a fault which has affected both mine and the other Peugeot. Does anybody have any knowledge of this issue ?
Thanks
Joe
