rcz 200 very slight baulking changing from 1st to second - comments plse

car in excellent condition, owned 6 mths with 60k mls FSH

is this a known symptom - are there tried and tested inexpensive ways of curing it / preventing deterioration?

Changing your gearbox oil should help.I have just replaced mine as I had a similar notchy gear change and gear changes are noticeably smoother.

I tried changing the gearbox oil and it didn't make that much difference in the long term.

Mine crunched a lot, changed the oil and it made a small difference. You could still feel a "reluctance" though.
Also latterly started popping out of second when changing down too. Part of the reason why it got traded in.

If you hear a clunk when changing gears let the forum know as its a generic fault & just might be related to the clutch ?
