5 mths on and i still get surprises.
I have only just discovered the secret hidden ashtray :wtf:
Seems a great place to stash coins tbh.

Another wonderful observation whilst driving at night.Lights on full beam or high beam behind you, don`t dazzle or blind you thx to the tinted rear window and especially the tinted rear view mirror ... totally gobsmacked

Have any of you found other nice touches like the door sill lights, footwell lights etc ?

Have had mine for over 3 years now.... about a month ago, I discovered that if you have your wipers and lights on automatic, when the wipers reach their fastest speed, you lights turn on.

I have just discovered the "Hill Assist" which is brilliant! I may never use the handbrake again

Frightened myself silly the other night when I cleaned my screen with the washers, when suddenly two clouds of mist erupted from by my headlights! That's when I discovered the headlamp washers activate if you clean your screen with your lights on. Didn't even realise it had them. Good eh?

Stick it into first gear and become a virtual passenger as the car ascends a gentle incline all on it's own. It's bizarre but entertaining!!

Wowser lots of new things to try out esp hill assist and headlamp washers. I love the hidden ashtray tho.
Something else i noticed was that if your in neutral gear at traffic light on a bit of an incline and press ur foot brake. it holds it there for quite a few seconds..

oh so when I park on my steep hill and the brakes keep jamming on and I think I have a clutch or brake issue but just ignore it! That is my hill decent helping me?

How do you use it activate it or cancel it?

Will try to make use of it!

My understanding of it is (and this is coming from someone who is still looking for the secret ashtray), when parked on an incline you keep your foot on the brake, when you release the brake to go for the accelerator the brakes stay on for a couple of seconds to allow you to get the clutch biting point. It does the same if your pointing down hill and the car is in reverse gear.
I haven't used the handbrake on a hill start since I found this out!

So, where is this bl*#dy ashtray then?

Hi DKZ5745,

Beneath the climate control buttons and above the rubber coin tray at the bottom of the centre console. I don't think mine had ever been used until I discovered it (my GT now 4years old!)

Yay! My hunt is over, well it will be when I next go to my car later today.

I will cancel the scheduled 4 point lift so I could look underneath, cos I had looked everywhere else for the so*#ing ashtray, I thought it must have been really well hidden :wtf:

Trouble is I don't smoke

My car is an ex-demo and it has a no-smoking sticker on the ashtray, so easy to find!
I left the sticker on... No internal air pollution in my car.
