hmm, thats alsow nice to see, but thats very difficult ( i think)

maybe the wheel bolt caps in yellow? (5x)

if you took the wheel centres out, you could put a spray-mask over them then carefully cut around the logo with a modelling knife, peel back the spray mask on the logo part, then paint, then peel back the mask with the overspray on it to keep the black background

Alternatively if you don't have access to spray-mask you could spray the whole centre yellow, then go back around the lower down parts with a fine painters brush and re-black them by hand...

Bolt caps could work too though...

i think i do this,
and then with the wheel bolt caps.

i think the other is to difficult to make it whit plasti dip,
this is only possible with painting of the rim.

try all black and just the circle around in yellow ... that would be much better, but a small circle not to thick. photoshop it just to see...

I read somewhere that they're around 40 quid for a set of four but this surely varies depending on rim size etc.

Sure can but not until I get into the office tomorrow - my photoshop kit lives there! Do you want this on its own, or with the yellow calipers and yellow pug logo too?

Mrizzle - I believe they are one size fits all as they are a straight L shaped lengths of plastic that are cut to length to fit in a full circle around the alloy.

Good knowledge!!! I'm not convinced about the levels of protection they claim to offer though perhaps this is more for aesthetics on this occasion...?

I figure that at the price they charge if they get ripped off and destroyed as you kerb it but keep the alloy intact then they have done their job at £10 a corner - I'd rather replace them than have an expensive repair or a new alloy.

A fair point. I'd like to see an unbiased video test of what they'd stand up to though before I placed much faith in them.

O, for me is it the yellow circle the important thing.

But for me is that nt the reason. For me is it the looks.... :cool:

Mrizzle - Let me find out from my brother-in-law what he uses - he has an Audi a1 with 19's on it and is a driving instructor so his wheels see a lot of kerb action. I know he has some very manky looking protectors on but believe his alloys are all good underneath.
