Peugeot published wrong RCZ R specs!

Max, would the world not be a rather tedious place if we all had the same view?! We/I are/am not here to unnecessarily censor people's views. The forum is a place where anyone can openly share their views in line with the terms and conditions whether I/you agree with them or not. The forum is a place where everyone can openly if no infraction of the rules is taking place then there is no reason for any action to be taken. Perhaps you would be so kind as to show me where in the terms and conditions it says that one cannot criticise the RCZ?

We act (as moderators) with impartiality. The same rules apply to all members. If any member breaks the rules then it is quite clear what actions will be taken. Follow the Ts and Cs and you'll be golden.

I did not join the RCZ forum to listen to a disgruntled ex-RCZ owner belittle the brand at every conceivable opportunity! He is adding little value in making statements about how the RCZ R will not compete with a Focus RS or how it uses only old technology. If these statements held any water I wouldnt respond but i am very sorry, if you make silly emotional outbursts about the brand I will respond accordingly. Maybe you should put your friendship with him aside to see both sides of the story as per your acclaimed impartiality plea.

I understand your points Max but please don't disregard the value of past owners and the valuable contribute that they have and can make to the forum. If you put aside your dislike for Jassy's remarks about the R and his occasional negative views on the RCZ then you will see that he does also provide helpful advice to members. I read his comments in other threads and some of them provide a good LoL! I read his other comments about, for example, his movie reviews (including some of yours btw :beer: ) and completely disagree with them but as its based on personal taste\view I dont get involved.

When however, the claims about RCZ performance\build quality\ability\technology etc etc start to come out, it is based on actual fact. Those points can be disputed and you will notice, those are the only posts I comment on. Yes, it does get heated sometimes but OMG, some of the things he sucks out of thin air are absolutely ridiculous. If that is who he is, this is who I am. He doesnt seem to mind a good ol "this way-that way" and neither do I. I've now owned my RCZ almost 12 months (which is close to the longest I've ever owned a vehicle) and I still love every moment driving it, racing it, posing with it.

I do think that a lot of jassy's negativity is tongue in cheek and he says things to get the reaction, that he is expecting. However if you read enough of his posts, I think that you'll see that in actual fact he likes the car and wishes he had chosen the right model for himself. He would, I suspect have prefered the GT 200.
His posts on other topics/marques are informative/funny but the RCZ one usually/always negative. Even Peugeot can't get everything wrong in a single car :lol:

Because you can have a debate without calling someone names. Unfortunately i need to ask if it was intended personal due to semantic barriers. English is my 2nd language and alot of the terms and words you use can be interpreted completely different here. I.e. if i call you a "cake", you would have no idea what that means as you dont have my local context... sorry that something trivial like that annoys you.

I dont care one bit for your car, I care for the RCZ that is constantly getting the short end of the stick when compared to the blue oval. Also, if you turn to page 2, you will clearly see yourself comparing an RCZ R that you havent driven, to a MK3 RS, that you havent driven. But i guess that doesnt count cos its good ol jassy making the statement! Cheers mate :beer:
