Yes I am :) but I'm not going to buy a car that I don't like the look of am I? ;)

I do appreciate its very quick but as I've said in other threads, how often do you get to use that kind of speed on our roads these days. Apart from those boy racer types that drive like lunatics with no regard for anyone else.

I am enjoying getting more speed out of my RCZ these days and using it more than I ever did in Pearl, due to changes in my circumstances, but I do think you can have too much power. It's just wasted with ever reducing speed limits.

It's a conundrum, isn't it? More power= faster acceleration=a more visceral shove in the back...which is therefore over with all the quicker (points don't make prizes in license terms ;))

I still fancy a go in the RCZ R though :D

So do I Steve  just to see what it's like ;)

But you know women, we like a slow burn rather than quick, Wham ! Bam ! (there's a good 'ole Wham! Song for you Jassy :eusa-whistle: )

Compare and contrast and all that.

Out of my price range though. Maybe in a few years when they come down in price.

We still talking about cars here!!!!

I'd love a go in the R myself and whatever way you look at it 270bhp is some achievement from that engine!!

I wonder why they didn't just bin the 1.6L and up the displacement then tune it

Cause then they would have had to design a completely new engine and that is too expensive.

Right guys...can we please stop all the bickering.

Max, could you please adopt a less confrontational tone when posting? Thank you. A bit of banter is perfectly acceptable but please keep it as banter everyone.

Hey I apologise if I offended. Turnip is a term for someone who is a windup, making banter. But it's a local term which I should have realised wouldn't translate :)
Sorry if I touched on any turnip related issues :p

Not into South African anyhow. He keeps lions in order to stop his neighbours Zebras trampling over his garden

Oh yes, I forgot, Jassy can say what he wants about how rubbish RCZ's are and we should all just smile and wave. Forgot about that section in the forum rules. Sorry Jassy, as you were mate.
