Great photos Jassy!! Is there not a Lambo dealership down that way too? I watched a launch event video of the new Huracan from down that way I think.

I'll take any of those but I do prefer it in white. Ultimately though, my heart will always belong to Ferrari.

I prefer the saloon to be honest. M4 arches arent as wide so it looks a bit more ordinary.

If you can remember back just over 2 years ago,l posted a photo of both a white Mclaren and a red 458 Spyder...that said Mclaren car cost £249,999 then, its now retail price is now £129,999 with just12k on the clock

I notice that the Lambo dealership is in Edinburgh. Doh!!

That's nuts about the depreciation. However, they're advertising finance deals in the McLarens in the local rag (Press and Journal) here. The small print is hilarious when you look at the deposit, monthly payments and guaranteed value after 3 years. I'll have to see if I can find it for you.

It seems that the more expensive a car is to start with the faster it depreciates. That's why very few people actually buy these beasts. They contract hire them.

The Overfinch Range Rovers lose £100 a day in depreciation.. me and the guys worked it out,the mid-range Bentleys ie £140 k new tend to keep their value better and the convertibl versions look amazing pictures to follow

Yeah those are worse than the M3 and RS4 for some reason. Think it's because it has the worst economy of the three. My M3 is leased and the price when I got it new last year was £62k inc. options. It's now a year and a half old and it's current book value is about £40k. That's £22k in the first year. You'd need to be bonkers to actually buy one new.

Thing is the deals that Parks were doing at the time were so good because it was less than a year for the new ones coming out. If I were to look at a brand new M3 with less options (and so a lower purchase price than my current car), it would cost me nearly double a month on what I'm currently paying and I wouldn't be able to afford that. Which is why my current car is a bit of a motoring holiday. When it goes back the chances of me ever having something like that again are slim to none.

Just goes to show that the actual sticker price on cars can actually be meaningless.

Same kinda figures as us. We've lost £30k screen price in two years. We were under no illusion when we 'bought' it that we'd be handing the keys back at the end of the term, so only really renting it. Thats why we've decided to buy the GTS outright with no finance. Think this will be a garage-kept toy for many years. Would still rather have the AMG though. But hey ho.......

If you were going down that route, best option would be to look out for a nearly new one that has the right spec rather than buy one to order. You'll save a fortune.

Wait until you hear the tale about the ordering process!! I think they'd struggle to get a used one as they only starting hitting these shores a couple of months back.

Oh and Figo, Donna won the Euromillions and has become a lady of leisure. I heard that she's bought the Marcliffe from under the nose of Stewart Milne and plans to use it as a second home when they return from their Manhattan penthouse (hence the GTS being garaged). The GTS will be the first addition to a garage to rival Jay Leno's.

Yep....gonna buy back Amber and she'll have pride of place in said garage!!! Don't care how much is costs!

Porsche Boxster GTS arriving in 3-4 weeks hopefully. Some barsteward is driving about Aberdeen (the first privately owned one in the country .... that SHOULD'VE been ours) after we rejected it 'cos the order was wrong. Steve was gutted. Replacement was thought to be here December (perfect timing for a mid engine, RWD car in Aberdeen, NIT!) but PV pulled some strings and it should be here in time for a late Indian summer.

Sadly I wish Rizz's story was true.....but it could be said I'm already a lady of leisure...... I just LOOK busy........
