Dear all, first of all Happy new year to all of you. I am new on this forum. I have just a bought a new RCZ. I am from Malta.

I have a small question please. Is it normal that gear shift change is hard especially the reverse since it s new?

A very happy New Year to you too  Welcome to the forum and your new RCZ. What have you bought? It in my experience is not normal to have difficulty selecting gears. Some have reported minor difficulties going from first to second gear but I believe that they all settled down. If you continue to have problems with the reverse gear, then I would suggest a return visit to the dealer.

HI :) I have bought the 1.6 156BHP model with some extras which includes the sports steering and gear knob, 19 inch wheels and the lights pack which includes the xenon lamps etc etc. I am not finding it difficult to change gears, it s just they feel a bit hard and when I try the reverse it 's like you need to push it a bit harder in order to enter the gear. I have only driven it once so it s totally new.

Maybe simply a case of adapting to a new vehicle. The sport pack as well as the vision pack are two good options to choose. The media package would have been good at a price! but it does transform the cab appeal.

Now that is the one option that I did not choose. I borrowed a car with it for a weekend and gave it a good trail. The outcome was that I couldn't detect any noticeable difference so opted for the standard and I think that it sounds wonderful. This may depend upon your musical influences and I like rock/metal

Why call it the easy motion pack ? It comes as standard on all the vehicles ? The features mentioned are what differs the Sport and the GT models.

The only difference are the leather seats. All settings related to the seat are all manual and no heating is installed. But here we surely do not need any heated seats knowing how hot it is during summer and how not so cold it is during winter. Moreover the ride is ok with the 18" wheels.
