Hi Mick, great pics of a great trip. Really enjoyed all of it. Got home today, Tuesday about 1pm. Covered 2335 miles, averaged 41mph and 43.4 mpg. We will look into how to post pics later. See you Sunday.

OK you lot I've been a bit lame on this thread so I apologise, but after a day driving the Dolomites and then a hearty evening 6 or 7 course meal, I was a little wacked before I even started to download the 170 gigs of pics and vids.

Now I am home and got most other things out of the way..... 40 fish tanks take a lot of keeping and ten days away they needed some extra time, add to that work and other time, plus a weekend down to Silverstone and you might start to realise why I haven't done anymore since.
So explanations out of the way I will try and post some more of the pics ( vids can't do on here, wish I could but I can't - must be a thicket as my father in law would say LOL )

I think i have to organise a trip like this one

So tell us more whats the name of the Hotel where is it exactly Which places have you visited anything you can

Well AEK only real way to experience a trip like this is ...... to do it LOL !!! you knew that was coming.

The very plush hotel was Sportresidenz Zillertal in Uderns.

The first days ride highlight was The
Großglockner High Alpine road it is seen by many as one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the
world.

Day 2.

To say that there was a highlight to this day or any other day to be honest is not really true, because we drove past views which would be classed as anyone's highlight, round every corner was a different view of snow capped mountains or valleys peppered with villages thousands of feet below.

This is Lake Misurina ( Lago di Misurina ) and this place was magical just look at it.....

sometimes I just despare at the super markets...

Some of the places we stopped at or viewed whilst sipping a Cappuccino or Hot chocolate in Jeanette and Francis case.

I think the waitresses in this bar wore to many clothes !!

I think these belonged to father and son just out enjoying some bonding.. nice !!

around every corner !!

A couple of nice motors of our own...

admiring the colour and views in the background.

Argh it's them again.... very blowie up here

Some wild animals

Hope you like them, not wanting to bore you but more to come another day !

Cheers M.

Well as I threatened here are some more pics and a wee confession !

The very last pic was from day 3 dum dum dum ( drum roll for the 1d10t ) - just messing !!!

Yes so roll......

This was a special day in more than one way, it was my wife and I's 25th wedding anniversary - yeah, woo woo.... calm down !
and this place was so serene and truely beautiful, though I will let you lot decide if you agree.

Don't some of these mountains look as if they are wrapped in kitchen foil ? couple of likely characters there.

Our location - Lake Braies

Now look at this....

If you look carefully you can see the trout

Sorry I'm feeling a bit rough at the moment, I'll be ok just a bit hoarse....

Isn't that lovely?

Anyway it was a half day trip so the ladies ( and the guys ) could relax at the fantastic facilities back at the hotel...

this was in the wellness centre with the drinks station in the foreground

one of the many relaxation areas

This example of a tree house was in fact an aromatic pine sauna - and it was hot

a salt sauna

part of the indoor heated pool

this was the automatic doors to the outside heated pool

The hotel from the air

and it's surroundings

Sunset to finish the day off !!

Send some more soon M.

Amazing photos. Looks fantastic

It truely was RCZ1, though the pictures don't do it justice, these are just snapshots from my mobile, the experience was totally different.
Nice to see the cars all in convoy too, gave the locals something to look at, most of them will never have seen a RCZ !

So day 4 and it started like most with a ground frost...

You might be able to see the roofs and grass were frosty.

the sun just breaking and hitting the top of the mountain

This is how your honey is presented Italian style

the sat-nav system wasn't playing ball and stayed like this for about 30 mins, good job I was following some crazy RCZ owners on a day trip, otherwise I'd have been lost !

time for a coffee, so pull the horses up !!

Then guess what a certain nosy Plecodoras saw pull up?

Only the new Rolls Royce 4 x4 under test - the Cullinan !! time for some paparazzi shots for the mag
copyrighted to " Plecodoras Hot Shots " these cannot be used for re-release or promotion without my permission LOL.

notice the RR in the headlight cluster, can't put tape over that !

back to the serious stuff ! who built a shed up there.

that's a pretty steep cable car ride

this is a very early issue Limited Edition RCZ ( Launch Edition )

that looks scary - I couldn't do that no way

but I did get in this

to go to the top of that

but once up there the views were astonishing - check them out....

can you see where I parked my car?

this is special

just don't ask me what was going on here - some mad Englishman

Peek a boo

this makes my legs go to jelly

another pit stop

and ah some lovely wedding shots !!

Alpine Marmot, sometimes elusive and have a loud bark / shriek

and the final shot of the day, another spectacular view

I know there was a lot of pictures that day, but I hope you like them. Cheers M..

PS. click the plus sign in the top left hand corner for bigger pictures, you just have to look at the panoramics opened up, they are special !!! just look.
