They should develop wireless charging more, then install charging mats under the roads, that way you dont need to worry about it lol

At my work they are inventing just that at the moment! I work in Traffic & Infra and they are developing a road with solar cells built in it, the concept is called SolaRoad.

Not only will the road light up at night so no lampposts needed anymore, but in the future these roads may even be able to recharge the cars as they drive on them

https://innovation-awards.nl/concept/solaroad/ (sorry that the text is mainly in dutch, i couldn't find an english version)

The site asks for votes, as this is for an innovation award, so hit the vote button (stem op dit concept) if you like the concept...

Cool :D I definitely think its the way forward if electric cars are going to eventually take over.

Im going to an open day at my sister in laws garage. They are BMW specialists and have an i8 on show.

Please try and grab some interior pics of that!!

The owner of the one that I snapped up has popped up at the V8 Breakfast at The Fennel (restaurant) which is a local weekly institution for owners of exotic cars new and old. Apparently he was saying that the new i8 is better than the R8 that he had before it!

Fear not, that area closest to the tailgate is hatched and lifts.

Hope the guy in the white one got a ticket for the double yellow lines, or was he displaying a disabled sticker, that one always gets me.
I read that the batteries were only good for 5 years, and cost @£10k to replace, now that's a consideration if you ever see a 58 month old one for sale!
