Have had the car just over a year now and only done 5,000 miles but have had the following
1 new wheel - lifting of coating from back edge of wheel
Replaced Wing mirrors - Noisy when folding
Battery - Kept coming up with "Safe Battery mode in Operation"
Windscreen wipers juddering on screen-had them replaced at cost to me - still not brilliant- have just put on some GTechniq to see if cures it
Well pleased with local dealer, still love the car, its looks, rarity and performance

Skidz, I'm a recent new owner as well. I joined this site to get hints and tips on how to look after an rcz. Most people on here are very friendly, welcoming and full of knowledge but I too was soon put off looking at the forum due to all the negativity that it suddenly started occurring. I to nearly pulled out of ownership and to be perfectly honest I'm glad I didn't. The car is an absolute joy to drive, look at and own. I've had no problems to date so please don't be put off. From my looking at all sorts of threads the earlier cars seem to have more faults, not sure if that's coincidental or if there are improvements happening in the factory. I will recommend the car to others but have been very put off this site recently. Just my 2 pence worth.

It's goodbye from me, and its goodbye from him.

Very good post :)

There is a lot of negativity around the forum at the moment and it has reduced my enjoyment of it recently.
For everyone who has had a problem, there is another one who hasn't. Like all car manufacturers - read any forum, you'll find the same.
I'll probably get lynched for this post too because I'm not allowed to enjoy my RCZ. I hope I don't, but we'll see :)

I have had a few problems with my car and more than a few with my dealership but Peugeot have been first class in helping me to get these issues resolved. I absolutely love my car, would recommend it to anyone and, would say to you, don't be put off by what you may have read by the experiences of others (/the minority). The car is awesome and you won't regret your decision to join the RCZ fraternity!!

I did fall out of love with my RCZ after having a complete engine failure (fuel pump went) on the way to the airport (missed flight) and the issues with wing mirrors.
That aside the wing mirrors are minor problems, can get that with any car, and this is my first car with folding mirrors automatically....I think you could close them on my old punto...

The one thing that has made me realise we all have such a great car is a complete lack of options to replace it. I would get an Evora, Cayman or 6 series (all slightly different I know) all massively more expensive to buy and to run. I went onto Audi Uk facebook page and all I could see was complaints about this that an t'other. Supposedly a massive brand, one of my best friends has two Audis and is always trying to get me to go and look at one with him. As RCZ1 says you do get it with other cars, but I am back in love with my Zing and wouldn't change her...unless I win the Euromillions and will get myself a helicopter instead!

Well tomorrow is the day the RCZ goes to another unfortunate owner :eusa-whistle:
So it had to give me one more problem before it goes .....This morning on a trip to the Golden Arches for breakfast , as I pulled up to the window at the drive through I pressed the brakes and there was a real clunk from the front O/S wheel/suspension/brake... Well it's someone else's problem because I basically can't be @rsed with it anymore !!!!
Oh and Ron .... I've not made this up, as I have not made any of the problems I have had with the RCZ up

OMG, wouldnt it be far easier if people stuck to the correct threads to air their views

If owners want to hail praise and deny everything go to the "I LOVE MY RCZ TO BITS SO THERE" thread, this thread here is for real people with real problems .

It really is simple, this one to raise a fault and blow off steam, over there to throw rose petals all over the RCZ, and rightly so if thats what you believe, I dont have a problem with that, just be totaly honest when doing so.

Also if people dont want to be "lynched" for their comments then perhaps they should stick to the topic of the thread. "LIST YOUR RCZ FAULTS". If you dont have a fault to shout about then theres no need to say otherwise.

THE TITLE IS ASKING TO LIST FAULTS, SO WHY HAIL PRAISE WHEN THAT IS NOT THE TOPIC OF THIS THREAD. :eusa-think:
The only reason I can see is to start a negative debate that just escalates into slagging each other off.

What if all the "moaners" decided to gate crash the "THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MY RZC" thread
It would just turn into another complete slagging match and end up getting locked like so many other threads.

For me if theres something good to say about the RCZ then say it, likewise if theres something bad to say then that also needs to be said, but lets try and ALL do it in the correct places . :eusa-whistle:

So with that said I'm off to the banter thread where I can poke fun at Ron & RCZ1 for buying a car in a colour that looks just like sperm

Well I'm a little short tempered and a little selfish at times.
That's my faults.
Sorry - just saw it said RCZ faults.

You've just proved my point :)
Yet again "lynched" for giving an opinion. You just can't help some people!
Why, why, why do you ALWAYS have to be so personal and rant and rave. You'll be going to an early grave at this rate.

It's sad in my eyes that the one person that you used to have good banter with, you absolutely slagged off this morning. Again personal !

Maybe some self reflection would be appropriate here?

Oh and to be on topic, yes I've had a couple of faults but they were soon sorted. I didn't have to rant and rave about them, I just quietly got on and got them sorted and moved on....!

It's easy for them because they are not face to face.

All i'm trying to say is that the thread is not asking for opinions, it is asking to list faults, I think the person who started the thread was specific in that.

If an owner did not have any faults to list then just leave it at that and just do the poll if they wanted to.

I'm not attacking you in person but it obvious that ANYONE giving an opposite opinion on such a thread where it was not asked for would raise the tempo.

This must obviously apply to everyone, as nobody is face to face :eusa-think:

I'm not going to be drawn into this further but what I will say that the first few replies to the OP are all saying no faults, etc but yet it's only specific people that are "lynched". Any thread will generate opinion, whatever the topic, that's what forums are for.
