Furniture Clinic stuff is great on the leather and is not exorbitantly priced. It lasts forever so why not simply purchase a good quality product and do a good job, as opposed to a cheaper product and waste your time and effort ?

I tend to agree with Jassy on this one.

I think some car owners just buy the more expensive products because they think it must be better because it costs more
Also they are a little bit like sheep, if one person says something is good then they just follow trend and buy it, and turn the noses up at "cheaper" products. :eusa-think:

And believe me I know all about sheep

I use mainly all the Autoglym products, which is basicaly off the shelf everyday joe bloggs stuff, but I get fantastic results inside and out, and it dont cost me silly money for a fancy label and a following of sheep.

You're not so shiney then? Not all of us get rain! Looking forward to the hosepipe ban this week.
What colour is your RCZ when it's washed?

Just ordered furniture clinic kit set. Painful on the shipping...

Anyhow, since it is for my $$$RCZ, so I don't want to risk using the abc brand from my local supermarket.

The leather sofa in my living room starts to show some ages sign as well, so it is killing two birds with one stone.

Well this turned in to an interesting thread its true what they say some people are happy with £5 pound car wash others prefer bit more love given and have a £60 valet more often, then at the other end of the scale machine polishing is very popular now in the 2 weeks I have done 12 plate merc 2 Porsche boxters Audi S5 Nissan 350Z Mazda roof now in middle of Audi TT, to come in jaguar xf and Aston martin db9 been very busy at the moment so obviously there are still a lot of people who like their car looking good.

same goes for leather yes these £5 pound products might suit some people while others it wont, but personally after speaking to two very regarded people in the leather industry i wont be using them.

As for which leather care products i use two types Dr leather and http://www.lttsolutions.co.uk/

Totall Snobery i can tell you my rcz is as good looking inside and out as any you do all sorts of makes of cars i dont thats your living and also in your best interest to do so to your very best  your mind set is then different to the NORMAL rcz owner who really cannot know the difference and has no reason too i have been on 3 forums in totall 6 years where all owners of each forum have been blinded and somewhat fooled into the state of mind that the best products cost the most but and it has nothing to do with the application/removal of the products that they apply as long as you buy them this is not the cASE THE ONLY WAY YOU LEARN IS BY TRIAL AND ERROR JUST LIKE ALL THINGS IN LIFE you do not buy expensive products then apply for perfect results without experience and good hard work

It's nothing to do with snobbery jassy. In the same way that you repeatedly mention that Civics are so much better than a RCZ - better built, better drive ( funny that I stopped buying one because of all the faults with them)! I and others have used many different products therefore It gives us the ability to compare and assess what works and what doesn't. You can only form opinions when you have have experience of more than one thing / product. You make RCZ owners sound like they are second class citizens without the ability to be able to think for themselves. You can inform people of your experiences and then let people make up their own minds without being insulting.
Do you buy your trousers from Primani or Armani? Both essentially look the same but do they perform the same? I think not!

CLOTHES LAST A WHOLE LOT LONGER THAN CAR PRODUCTS DO and when i was in that superfiscial mode i always chose made to measure 1 off suits including the clothes on and off the peg mode i chose gucci shirts jeffrey west english handmade shoes D&G casual wear..............and dozens of other designer labels that i even cant remember there names and i look back and think what a waste of frickin money it is the same with all things expensives looks and quality are in the eye of the buyer  I AM ONLY giving my opinion

your ownership experience with the civic must have been an early one??as all cars that are produced first off the line are subject to gremlins i had very late 58 plate off the civic production line i had totall faultless ownership but they are 2 different uncomparable cars in 2 different catergory's

Off topic it was early 2008 that I was looking but the faults put me off along with the soft paint.

On topic - discussion and debate is the spice of life ;)
