Hi All,
I do hope you can help me with a problem on my sisters RCZ. the car drives fine then all of a sudden it'll start to misfire, if the engine is turned off and then restarted it runs fine until the missfire returns with no specific pattern.
I've just had a diagnostic done and it's throwing up generic codes of P1336, P1337, P0313, P0300 and P0301 along with discovering that it's missfiring on cylinder one. When he went further into it he found that "cylinder injecting angle of phasing = 0 and cylinder injecter timing = 0. Clearly this is because thats the problem circuit so I've swapped over the plugs and coil from cylinder 2 to cylinder 1 yet it still missfires on cylinder 1. Oddly the missfire seems to begin when the cooling fan kicks in although this may be a coincidence, the fan does stay on for an inordinately long time after the engine is switched off. Do any of you good people out there have any ideas what the root cause could be?
It's got me completely stumped, when it runs it runs fantastically but then this problem kicks in which is so worrying. We'd really be very grateful for any help.
Alan.
