Installing a K&N air filter

Tried a phillips but doesn't work and I'm worried about damaging the screw head.

Just been and looked at mine there are 4 posi drive bolts 1 on each side.
You can also use a flat bladed screwdriver if you must.

Thanks for that but tried flat bladed as well but to chicken about putting to much force into it. Guess tomorrow I should just get grip and put some muscle into it.

smitto, John said the screws maintain a degree of friction so they don't ever become completely loose whilst undoing them.

Push down hard on the screw driver and give a sharp turn to the left to break the initial grip of the plastic.

Thanks everybody. It was a no.2 Pozidrive £1.98 from b&q. Easy when you have the correct tool.
