The car was picked up today, got a new 308SW for 3 days so that's OK. They have got to send the seat to a repair specialist as they can't get a new seat, so hopefully it will be as good as new, I just hope it comes back better than it went in.

Well just to close this out, I've picked the car up today, they've done a great job on the body work, slight hint of a swirl here and there, but nothing I'm going to worry about, I'm just glad to get it back. They have replaced the door seal and resprayed the door jam - good job as well I can't tell the colour difference  The interesting one is they have replaced the whole seat with a new one which just came from a demo delivered yesterday, colour match is great the only difference is there is no tag for the side airbag which was on my old seat, the airbag logo is embossed in the leather in the later models by the look of it. And finally they have replaced all the dust caps

The sad thing was that the guy who originally did the damage is now facing disciplinary action due the cost / inconvenience caused, I certainly don't like to think someone would lose their job, but then again you have to respect someone else's property.

It looked very smart coming home - made my day.

Hi Rob,

Great to hear that you have your RCZ back and that everything has been corrected to your satisfaction.

All the best,

Steve

Good result for you, Rob, but too bad that guy might lose his job, although...would any of us want him working on our cars??? No-one likes to think someone will be sacked through direct involvement with us but if you're as slack as he seems to have been he needs to reconsider his career choices.
