I've just bought 4 tyres in Bristol (UK) and need to transport them to Portsmouth (UK) next week.
Have you never thought about quads yourself, DK? I think it would look great on your car... *runs away*DKZ5745 said:There is a guy on EBay, Tony Banks who does the full service £399 with a choice of tips & 3 different noise levels. I have seen his work at the meets & he does a great job. Only problem for you is that he is in Leeds - sounds like a great excuse for a nice long drive to me :eusa-whistle:
Also I have seen on EBay Twin tips for sale, which could be used as "fake" quads. I think it all depends at the time you are looking.
There are also several different companies on the same site offering the quad exhaust on a supply only basis, which might be better for you if you don't fancy the drive. You can get them fitted locally then. The only thing is that you only see what your getting when they arrive :eusa-think:
There are many members on here that have had quads fitted, and I'm sure one or more of them must be down your way & can recommend a local supplier, unlike Tianorth, who very cleverly made & fitted his own
Maybe a Google search might reveal a solution for you
Looks like you've started the kitchen renovations then!DKZ5745 said::brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

Except it has a gray not green centre cone.
I've got one in my v50 wagon and it perfect, as it's self contained with an integrated amp it means should it need to be removed she can do so very easily.
I'll look to wire it up next weekend, as I'm on house duties this weekend.
Yup, it's one of the things ive still got to grab.Abzynthe said:Dirt Devil said:So went out and purchased this today: http://www.soundaround.co.nz/shop/C...usion+EN-AT1102+10+Active+Tube+Enclosure.html

I highly recommend one of these to aid with the easy removal and reinstall.

Ulter do a rear section quad system you could buy and have fitted at a local garage they're on eBay for around £300 I've recently been to Tony Banks in Leeds and priced up a quad system £399 for a rear section loads of tip options but to go for cat to rear £550 I've picked out some carbon tips which cat back costs £750 lifetime warranty though.BangkokBaz said:Firstly my apologies for posting this question in the wrong section - but I'm new here and I'm not sure "which" section I should be asking this question in (?)
I posted the same question earlier and I THINK it was in the 'Cars for Sale' section - which I discovered only after submitting the post. If someone spots it and it's possible to transfer to the correct category then "thanks in advance".
I was asking if anyone knew where to get the best deal to add additional (twin) exhaust outlets to "balance" the rear aesthetics of the GT (and other non 'R' models). I think you refer to it here as "Quads" ??
1. If there's a National Exhaust Company that provides this service? (we're in Exeter)
2. The approx cost?
3. If no National Company known of where's the most competitive place to purchase the pipes? (w
4. If too expensive for us right now - is it possible to purchase dummy/fake pipes?
(this would only be a temp measure until the 'real thing' was affordable)
Thanks and apologies once again for not yet knowing where posts of this nature should go.![]()
