Here's some photos from Ruby's photo shoot over the weekend wearing her new shoes, which had been cleaned up, polished and sealed before fitting and the car had a little spruce up too.

So why the change? You were such an advocate of the sport wheels?

You would have to blame Abzynthe ;) when I detailed his car with Ron, I realised what a difference the wheels made to his car. However much I liked the Sport wheels, they wouldn't have been my first choice in design. I still can't understand why Peugeot don't offer more design choices for the 18 inch wheels and now I know it's just a simple case of swapping the wheels over without any modifications, I don't see why Peugeot can't offer the 19 inch as an option for the Sport. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Thanks Sharon :)

Thanks for the offer but I won't take you up on it ;)

My OH tried to talk me out of buying the 19 inch wheels saying the ride would be much harsher but on a long drive today I didn't find that at all. Some of the roads are quite rough but I didn't notice or feel any difference. I'm just very paranoid now when I'm near kerbs :)

I think most of us know that the sport (including sales] version is a waste of time. Things start at GT on really.Sport wheels in particular are v nasty and basic, I cant see beyond black diamond tips myself..and the design was meant for 19s from birth. I dont see any point in playing catch up myself.Start as you aim to continue folks.

Thanks for your constructive help....... But I think you are talking rubbish ! That goes for myself and many Sport owners on here. There are many reasons people buy a Sport over a GT. I had very good reasons for doing so with both my RCZs so unless you know the facts, I would keep your helpful comments to yourself.

Im glad I inspired you ;)

I like the 18" Original alloys, on any other Peugeot they would look great...like an opal white new 308... :eusa-whistle:

But the wheel arches on an RCZ are too big for them. Maybe it wouldnt be as bad if the car was slammed on its arse, but 19s and up are much better :D

Now you have caught the bug whays next? ;)

The main and only reason for buying a sport over a GT is price im afraid (new) different second hand when buyers can maybe enjoy the hit that the original buyer took. It would be intersting to poll how many folk on here have a sport im afraid. Its not what the car should be.. its cheap enough to get the GT..i dont understand anyone buying a sport i have to say.Sorry.. no offence...

Sorry I thanked you there and didn't mean too :(

You are still wrong ! I think there is some price snobbery going on here. Is it a case of my car is better than your car as I have a GT? I think so !

If I wanted a GT then I would have bought one. In fact my car cost more than the starting price of a GT so as I said there are reasons I didn't want to buy one and above all, my car is unique!

Its 20 to 11 at night. Most people have to work. Your not always going to get an instant reply, if any.

No price snobbery here im afraid. Juat stating a fact. So if you had reasons for buying a sport over a GT..can i ask what they were.?

I would imagine..

Forgo the heavier electric seats
Opt for the better handling smaller alloys
Not opt for what is inferior standard leather

Anyone who has seen the quality of a professionally upholstered car can see it's night and day to OEM

The sport drives better than the GT and is comfier.

And especially for kerry who was planning on changing the seats it's a no brainier.
