The tuners in SA are able to run higher performance maps on cars running the new Primax. These maps were previously reserved for cars running OB.

so you have higher water content in supermarket fuel.
Fozzerman2 said:Yes water in supermarket fuel is 10-20 ppm higher in water content also due to separation in the tank all heavy metals which also are present in the fuel settle to the bottom of the tank. Basically this is one of the reasons for it being cheaper.

They have assured me they will stand over the fault even now it's out of warranty. Had a scarey experience at the weekend when it happened while over taking, complete loss of power & the steering jumped.. Any ideas?!

My RCZ 200bhp only lasted a few thousand miles from new back in 2009 and I had to have the whole top end re-built.
Still have her and looking to get the R early next year but a bit worried if this problem rolls over to a car producing even more bhp out of a 1600.
I would have thought that Peugeot would have sorted it out by now??![]()
