Hi all , serial lurker after some advice please.

235 40 contis for £715 or 235 35 verde steins £560 .

Is it worth the extra £155 to stay on 40,s

Actually pleasantly surprised at the prices for 19" tyres .

Thanks

I have the Vreds ... you probabaly already know that! For me it's a no-brainer ....4 Vreds for the price of 2 Contis ... oh hang on, that's a good price for Contis you have - mytyres are £260 against £139 vreds, you'd be saving almost £500.
Remember it will know your speedo out a tiny wee bit .... but in the right direction :)

If it was me, I would go for the Contis. That's a cracking price for them!! They're seriously impressive pieces of rubber and, given the forecast for Aberdeen tomorrow, I'll be glad of them again this year!

Are you sure that that is not +VAT? Seems too good a price for the time of year.

Ordered. Went for the Conti,s as only £150 more than the verds ( which I'm sure would be a great tyre as well)

Mytyres.co.uk if anyone else is looking for some . Hopefully running these for next 4 or 5 months should stretch another summer out of the summer conti,s .

Indeed...unless you hit the same bad luck as myself and incur a puncture swiftly followed by a dodgy tyre valve! :( Still...the logic is a sound one and I hope you have better luck.

Oh...and I think you've chosen well/right with you chosen tyre!

A bit of ground frost here. Not even sub zero yet (not quite anyway) taken my first steps to get Pearl2 booked in to have her winter boots fitted. Just awaiting confirmation of a time and date

We had a blizzard here in Newcastle this morning  Mr Rizz were you pointing your quads southwards and revving your nuts off to blow that white stuff our way?...

Have you got a crystal ball ! All savings wiped out this morning when the better half hit a big pothole and took out the sidewall of the summer conti ! £250 to get that replaced and i suspect at least tracking damage maybe worse from the description of the impact .
