Lionhart didn't take the shot. The pic was posted on the web from another source.
Must just have been the wording of his post that suggested to me at least that he has seen the Red one following closely on from seeing a White one.

I may come in for a few pelters for this but I'm ok with that. Is anyone else a little underwhelmed?! I can't help but feel that the exhausts, questionable alloys and even more questionable spoiler just isn't enough. It needs something more. A different grille perhaps or a cooler rear valance, maybe some cool side skirts or something. :eusa-think:

20" alloys new side skirts and new diffuser at the front and back just to set or aside from the normal RCZ just to make it that bit different. I mean whose gonna know ur driving a £30+ grand RCZ if the only difference is the exhausts and wot happened to the bronze arches and matte black paint? At least the asphalt's matte paint set it aside from the norm.

I personally don't like how far the exhausts protrude from the rear end (picky aren't I). The wheels do nothing for me as well and I'd miss 'popping' my spoiler up and down at lights and seeing everyone's faces in my rear view mirror  ...

I dont like it. They should have just made the more powerful engine in a normal RCZ with small differences. The spoiler ruins it, if they gave the original spoiler a little flare then keep the rest it would look great :)
I think of this everytime i look at that spoiler.

Just wish they did it on the pre facelift :(

I saw the RCZ R in the flesh at the Paris Motor Show and had it looked like that on that link I would have been nagging a friend who works at Pug to get me on the pre-order list!

The copper arches and matt paint looked absolutely class in the flesh and while the Onyx quite rightly stole the show the RCZ R wasn't too far behind.

Unfortunately this seems to be a trend with Peugeot as much as I love them. Other examples include the purple interior shown in the purple XY (which my partner was desperate to have) and mumblings about the 2008 to have the THP (156bhp) engine in it, which I was seriously considering to replace my RCZ with. Granddad mobile I know, but I have to keep up with the WAGS of Wilmslow in their 4x4s!

I think the Onyx will do EXACTLY the same at Goodwood. I did enter the draw to be a passenger in it.

So has my other half. No idea how she would be able to claim it if she won though, we dont have any tickets.

All items that add nothing to the concept of an R (for racing) version. Maybe they should make a RCZ P (for posing).

LOL, just jokes mrizzle. But the RCZ R rights the wrongs of the current RCZ. Its adding go to match the show. Personally I feel the looks of the RCZ currently far outshines its go.

When you drive an RCZ, you tell your friends: "Come, let me show you my car"
When you drive an RCZ R, you tell your friends: "Come, let my RCZ R show you something"

I wont mind if they bring out a THP 260 version of the car and change absolutely nothing on the way the car looks, as long as it comes with the LSD and bigger brakes. The RCZ already looks the part!
