I wonder what other owners have been quoted for a 2 year/20000 sevice. I tried two dealers and the quotes are £325 and £285. This seems a bit high. Any thoughts ??

Mine's booked in for a first service on 6th June at Wokingham Motors in Berkshire. I have been quoted £279.00 :). And I have been given a courtesy car - whoopie
I always had my 307 serviced there and found the service and prices generally quite good. Had a winter check on the RCZ in September 2011 and noticed the vast difference in how I am treated now though!!!
Jassy - think I may update my profile to read "glamorous granny"

My service cost £285.....courtesy car not even offered! Given what I know now, I wouldnt have bothered with the £99 first year oil change.....still only done less than 9000 miles !

Sadly my 20,000 mile service was a disater. Got 3 qoutes first was £359 second £205 and third £204 but would match.
Asked £205 guys to confirm that all the items stated on the schedule for replacement were included in the price. Yes they confirmed. On handing over the keys I asked them to confirm changing of the spark plugs as stated for THP 200 they said that was not required however on rechecking their computer system admited it was but they dont keep them in stock and it would be an additional £100 :x

Reluctanly agreed for them to continue with service as I had drived 20 miles to get there. When I returned for the car I was told that air filter hadnt been changed as non in stock :x
I later realised that they hadnt charged for Pollen filter (a scheduled item) when confronted they said they hadnt changed because they would do it at 2 year service contrary to maintenance schedule
When I asked them to confirm the price for all the items they were not going to fit or didnt have it came to £385 approx.
I could have have strangled them as I could have had it done 3 minutes from work for the £359
They knocked of about £20 pounds but that level of diservice is not really good enough for a main dealer.

Have since fitted spark plugs and K&N filter myself and so saved a few pounds on labour.

That is digusting service from a main dealer. They ought to damn well know what needs doing and price accordingly. Simply not good enough

Unfortunately this is exactly the standard of service I do expect from my main dealer. I would guess they don’t even know the correct grade oil to use, and if they did, I wouldn’t trust them to use it. On the many visits to my dealer Total 3000 is the norm. They simply do not have a clue. They should be made to show which oil, filters, plugs etc they are using before and after the service. When I take my wife’s car for service (Audi A3) all the parts changed are shown to me when I take delivery. :greetings-wavingblue:

Here in Belgium Peugeot suggest a service every 15000km. Mine was in 3 times already since I bought here march 2011. (service at 2500km, 15000 km and 30000km).

Just had a quote from ecosse based in scotland. £96 I was quoted and the other thing I liked was that they said they would check if the brake fluid needed changed rather than the "we will definately have to change it" I got from another peugeot dealership that wanted £285 for the basic service along with another £50 for the brake fluid change.

And of course, ecosse will be using official peugeot parts so the warranty is still good. Happy days!

I've just come back from Wokingham Motors after having my 2 year service on the RCZ. Very pleased with the results and all OK. Parts for the wing mirrors on order and they will contact me when they have them next week. :D
