Hi All,
I can see there are quite few posts on steering racks failing on RCZ's.
Mine has had a knock on the nearside front which bent the tie rod which I have now replaced.
However, I am getting, what's best described as, 'shuddering' feedback through the steering wheel when driving over rough...
Humm.. well I still have a small chunk of the old nearside wheel arch liner on mine!
If it happens to co-inside with the piece your missing then maybe you could use it to repair yours (if you are unable to easily find a replacement)?
I already had the bumper off as I am having it resprayed so the wheel arch liner was very easy to fit.
I suspect even with the bumper on it wouldn't had been much more difficult.
May I ask why you need a new wheel arch liner?
Jeffrey
Hi Funkmachine,
I managed to purchase a set of front wheel arch liners, however, I won't be needing the driver side (right) one.
If you are still in need of one then let me know.
Jeffrey
Hi TRCZ,
Just sent you an email but it bounced back saying unknown email address so sending you a message on the forum instead.
Do you still have a front nearside wheel arch liner available?
Thanks.
Jeffrey
Many thanks for your reply _ghiloliveira
When you say "if you want to remove them you need to cut the original plastic soldering." are you referring to the front grilles or the DRL support?
Are you saying the front grilles be removed without cutting any plastic soldering?
Does anyone know if the front bumper grilles on a facelifted 2015 model are removable?
I am looking to get my front bumper resprayed and for best results I would like to remove the front bumper grilles rather than mask around them.
However, now that I have the bumper off the car it looks like...
Well I have been keeping my eyes open for a year or two I guess.
Hopefully future classic in the making.
More than happy to share some more details with you if you want to send me a personal message.
Hi Russ,
I have just found one of those elusive Unicorn's myself.
1 lady owner 36k miles, even Euro 6 (as registered on 30-Sep-2015). One of the last made / sold I suspect.
Good luck with your search.
Hello All,
CAR REG: OY65 XVZ
Just purchased one of these beautiful cars after many years of admiration!
I purchased the car from a salvage auction to help keep the costs down.
It's has light front nearside damage so hopefully not too difficult to fix / repair.
Have always loved these cars and...
