Hi hope someone can help. I took my car to car wash and the car wash attendant got a bit over zealous with the jet gun. Shortly after leaving the car wash my ABS/ESP warning light came on. Has anyone experienced this? I’m taking it to a garage tomorrow for them to look at it.

No there has been no oil on the floor and no white smoke from the exhaust

I had it checked as I could smell oil they said there are various leaks. The only one they could be specific about was the rocker cover. I think the others need more investigation 🤦🏽‍♀️

Did you get this sorted? How much did it cost. I’ve been told mine has various leaks starting with the rocker cover

Is this too much oil? So hard to read

Hi all I have had my RCZ for a while and the clutch bite point has always been high. Is this a common thing or is it a sign that the clutch needs replacing? it seems ok when I drive no burning smell etc

2021 and I’m adding to this thread! My Rcz oil consumption is ridiculous! I’m topping up approx every 3 months. I was told I had a leak on the sump pan, which I can’t find any garage that can fix it!!! I had a Peugeot 307 cc before this for 5 years and didn’t even think about the oil inbetween...

Correct this was just the full timing chain Kit. Not that high miles so didn’t need the full works just yet.

I had my timing chain replaced just at the weekend. The price was higher because it’s a chain and not a belt. the price range from various independent garages were £350 ......£395 , £450 and top price was £495 so I’m actually impressed with Peugeot’s quote!

Turns out my oil was almost empty. What’s worrying is I had separate mechanics to check it on my behalf (I didn’t trust my own judgement) they both told me the oil levels were fine! Which is what made me think it was a sensor fault! That shows how hard that stupid dip stick is to read!!!!
