Clutch biting point

Hi all I have had my RCZ for a while and the clutch bite point has always been high. Is this a common thing or is it a sign that the clutch needs replacing?
it seems ok when I drive no burning smell etc

Yep - my clutch bite os so high I knee myself in the face every time I change gear - so I drive everywhere in 1st gear only
