Just had the annual service on the RCZ and told the pads were 70% worn. Over the last 4+ years of ownership I have averaged about 2000 miles per year and will probably do the same miles in the next 12 months. Could I wait until the next service in Feb 2025 to get new pads or should I replace...
Here's the story...
I do a very short commute to work in my HDi RCZ which I know is bad as the engine never gets warm. I had the now fairly regular 'diesel particulate filter risk of blocking' warning message and took the car for a long blast which unfortunately did not clear the message this...
Hi all - my analogue clock won't sync with the digital clock when altering the time. Seem to remember the hands spinning around previously when I set it.
Not particularly bothered if it's an expensive fix, but just wondered if any other owners have had this problem.
I wonder if I could have some advice from members regarding selling my RCZ 2.0 HDI GT (2013 facelift).
I will be selling the car in late November/December but the annual service is due now. The car has full main dealer history and has only covered approximately 1750 miles since the last service...
The EML has appeared and I had the car scanned at my local garage and it came up with:
U118/CAN Communication - No communication with the BSI.
0023 - Absence of communication with the multifunction display or telematics (Engine relay unit/Radio/Windscreen wiper)
They however had no idea how...
Window regulator mechanism failed and had to be replaced this week... first ever issue I've had with my RCZ in nearly 3 years of trouble-free motoring.
Welcome Carole! RCZ is a great car and my diesel hasn't missed a beat or had a fault in my 2+ years of ownership. This beautiful Coupe has always punched above it's weight in the way it looks compared to what it costs and is becoming a rare site on the road these days. Used prices for good cars...
Poking around on Autotrader I've noticed RCZ prices are on the rise.
I've had mine 2 years now and just wondered what 'WeBuyAnyCar' would value it at... the figure was nearly the same as I paid for it 2 years ago. They give rock-bottom trade price so you can add at least £1000 to the value for...
You're absolutely right. Badge snobbery plays a huge part in a car purchase and saying you own a 'Peugeot' doesn't seem to get you the same bragging rights as owning a 'Mercedes', 'BMW' or 'Audi'. After 10 years the RCZ is still probably the most stylish, bold and beautiful design on the road...
My 7 year old RCZ passed it's MOT on Friday with no advises 👍 Also had a major service at the same time with my local Peugeot garage to continue the full dealer service history (currently 32k miles on the clock). Not sure if it's worth paying the premium for that, but come the day I decide to...
After my flat tyre on Friday I unfortunately discovered there was no locking wheel nut in the car! Purchased a locking wheel nut remover kit from Halfords which worked perfectly and ordered 4 x new wheel bolts which hopefully arrive Monday... sorted.
