Swapping standard RHD headlight units for standard LHD

Just for info I successfully swapped my headlights today - pretty straightforward - in fact easier than I expected - they seem to make electrical connectors far easier to disconnect these days than in days of old! So 136euros lighter and 5 hours later (inc. lunch and coffee breaks obviously!)...

Cycled to and through Snaith a few times in my life! Ooh planning afoot! We've got August off so might have to take a trip south bound!

New girl here to pick your collective brains!

Hi and thanks for the welcome :greetings-wavingblue: Yeah I shopped around before we moved out here at Christmas to see if I could source some and have them swapped by my local garage in the UK before I brought it out here - I even went to Peugeot for a quote thinking that it might be worth...

Swapping standard RHD headlight units for standard LHD

Thanks  - I tracked the post down. He took apart a Mk2 but I reckon this is got to be a pretty good starting point for my mk1 - very useful. Getting excited for a bit of spannering. It's honking down at the moment though so it'll just be planning for the mo. Thanks again for the...

Fair spread! Not travelled around much yet (busy moving in) so have only explored the bit between here and the French border and been as far south as Leon (so not very far south!) - stunning drive but took the van - I shall be repeating it in more salubrious conditions for sure - if only for...

New girl here to pick your collective brains!

Hi! and thanks for looking for me - most appreciated - I managed to get one of mine from down south somewhere but it was via an eBay shop - free delivery as well which was cracking seeing as I'm proper up north. Brand new but with no bulbs (as expected) - but I have a set of perfectly good bulbs...

New girl here to pick your collective brains!

Hi there, thanks for the reply and the welcome  - I wish it was a case of just flicking a switch but no such luck! (As Peugeot Doncaster offered to do the job for a sweet £600 a side!). I've already sourced the headlight units thanks - got one second hand from a local scrappy...

    CANCELLED !!!!! RCZ 10 Year Celebration Day UK - 12 July 2020

I'm interested! I'm in Spain but from Yorkshire originally so it will be nice to have a visit back. I'll have to look at logistics, summer ferry prices an' all that, (I said i was from Yorkshire right? ) but really keen. Rachel (and possibly Dave but he works freelance so could...

Swapping standard RHD headlight units for standard LHD

Hi all, I've browsed the whole section and I can't see a thread on this subject so hopefully I'm not repeating a previous one (I know there's a fairly comprehensive one about swapping standard for xenon but I'm not wanting to do that). It's a MK1 (so the model with 308 headlights - which is...

    hens' teeth

I'm in northern Spain (Asturias) and they are a bit rocking horse poop in these parts. I've seen two others in the six months I've lived here - one was on the Autovia so could've been passing through, the other one is a repeat visitor (seen it 2/3 times) on the road through the local town so...

New girl here to pick your collective brains!

Hi all, Newbie checking in. I've been the privileged owner of my late registered MK1 RCZ 200THP in Moroccan red since Oct 2014 when it was a year old with 6000 miles on the clock, its done a few miles more since then! I love it so much I brought it out to northern Spain when I emigrated and as...
