Hi, yes I think it is designed to work with quads and actually replace the existing valence. I'm looking at doing a quad conversion using the existing tailpipes and matching ones at the other side as I like the look of the original "chunky' tailpipes.

Hi, Has anyone bought and tried to fit a Rexpeed carbon fibre rear valence cover? I bought one quite some time ago and have only recently tried to fit it. I've been told that it bonds directly to the existing valence which requires removing from the rear bumper first to bond the two together but...

I would also say that if your not getting timing chain rattles on cold start ups (you need to be out of the car to hear this in the early stages) I would have thought it may have been done or you might have one of the lucky...

Quite possibly I don't know of anybody with a mk2 that has suffered the tensioner problem maybe someone could tell us otherwise? The new tensioner is shorter and thicker than the original. It's a traversty that Peugeot didn't own up to the problem and do a recall. :thumbdown:

Hi, do you know if the timing chain and tensioner have been replaced? A common problem with the thp engine is the timing chain tensioner is poorly designed and basically the chain stretches so the timing goes out of sinqu and this will bring the engine management light on. More chance of this...

Doesn't it normally happen the other way round?? :lol: :lol:
