Sounds like the pug warranty is a no brainier, if anything the law of sod says once you pay your £285 your Z will be trouble free for 12 months :lol:

Hi, yes actually less than £600 from Peter Ambrose in castleford and £500 for my wife’s cooperS from a well respected mini specialist in Leeds both done in the day with all new parts fitted chain/tensioner/guides genuine parts used.

Have a look on YouTube there’s quite a few videos on there showing how to replace the led strip cheaply it’s weather the light will split or not?.

Common problem the led brake light I would love to have a go at repairing one if it’s possible to split the unit apart then I think it could be repaired. I have one led out on mine but until more fail I’ll leave it. A dealer should be able to order the part I think they’re around £120 + VAT.

I think it’s simply the manual boot switch which can sometimes stick in and not return run your fingers over the switch to see if it’s stuck and try and press it again to make it pop out. :thumbup:

I think when you go through old posts a lot of owners have sorted running issues out by changing the coils even when dealers haven’t identified an issue with the coils. :eusa-think:
