Would sound like a diesel on Cold start up is the tell tail sign of a stretched timing chain or a poorly operating tensioner :thumbup:

What I didn’t mention was that just out of warranty my timing chain needed replacement at only 17K because my car had been serviced at independent garages Peugeot would not honour any possibility of helping with the costs of the repair even when they new there was a designe fault with the part...

Sorry to hear about your problems with your RCZ, with what you say I wouldn’t blame yourself for buying a car serviced by independent garages, as long as the proof was there it has been serviced and the low mileage and excellent condition, I did exactly the same, and almost 5 years on it’s one...

Re: Wheel spacers for my R - to fit 19" Technical's from a G It’s the clearance from the callipers that’s critical I’m just not sure if 5mm will clear them your just making up the difference in offset :eusa-think: I’m sure I’ve seen hubcentric 5mm and 10mm spacers on eBay.

Re: Wheel spacers for my R - to fit 19" Technical's from a G Yeh the R are 9” wide instead of 8.5” on GT to clear those Alcon callipers, I would go 15mm spacers, you shouldnt get any problems with rubbing arches as you can go 20mm with the standard wheels without problems :thumbup:
