To be fair I’ve not heard of any common issues with them falling off and I’m not sure how they fit either, was it the same side that you lost before? Maybe the actual attachment is dodgy?

I have my insurance about my mods, aftermarket alloys, full skirt kit including front splitter and rear defuser also air filter mods and decals plus my custom exhaust all in all cost me about £50 extra! Well worth the money.

Over in Europe prices seem quite high compared to what we’re paying over here in the UZ, I would say buy the best looked after car you can afford irrespective of mileage

You could try that I suppose but for it to break off I would have thought it’s stuck in there and the magnet may not be strong enough, worth a try though good luck let us know how you get on

If it broke off I doubt your going to get it out it’s a matter of either pushing it in or leaving it where it is and try and get by it to check level? How far down do you think it broke off?

I’m sure there’s a guide on YouTube to remove this but on the Mini Cooper S engine which is the same as in the rcz 👍

If your careful and remove properly you shouldn’t break any clips just go steady 👍

Just be careful as the dipstick passes through the timing chain guide the last thing you want is to damage that! What about trying to measure your dipstick against a piece of thin steel rod and take a reading off that?
