Well I don't want to jinx it, but a breakers have been in touch to say they have a nav unit for an RCZ. £300 delivered with a 3 month warranty. I hope it is an NG4, I've sent them a picture of mine just to be safe. Fingers crossed :thumbup:

Bit of a long shot. Is the RT6 unit a lot different to the NG4 with regards connections? I know the unit looks different but there are quite a few reasonably priced RT6s on ebay.

After coming to the conclusion my unit might not be totally borked, but spares will be hard to come by. I am looking for a sensibly priced replacement. Any leads gladly received :)

Was it a rotary? I use a DA and have never damaged anything.

I'd agree, looks like heat damage. Plastic components require a different technique to metal ones.
