I had the same code recently so changed the oil and filter and its gone away, even though last oil change was less than 4k ago

I hope they replaced my plugs on my last service at MD 2k miles ago, cost me £400 for major service. At least the car is going well at the moment

depends on what code you get. I just got the common P1337 code meaning ignition coil pack so I just swopped all of them and reset the ECU and its all fine now. Has the same symptoms as your car. Started to go slow when I tried to floor it and the engine light came on. took it home and the fans...

I just reset it using that ODBII reader and the free program I got. Didn’t want the same problem again so replaced all 4 ignition coils just to be on the safe side. Bought Bosch items 😀

never mind, fixed it and reset the code now
