I appreciate Michelleh's point, and if it is her decision to "get rid" of her car when it develops a fault then of course that's fine, if that's how she chooses to deal with it.
I personally think that if you own a car you have to almost expect that at some time during its lifetime it is likely...
From reading the symptoms & having seen many similar issues on the forum, it does sound like a coil(s) that has given up. You would have thought that a Peugeot dealership would know about the more common faults thrown up by the Prince engine & gone there first.
In their defence, I assume they...
I think he will be wanting to drive it himself, but he has already indicated it might be my responsibility to keep it clean & looking as shiny as my Z :eusa-think:
Btw, after selecting sport mode, you really want to hear the exhaust note change WOW :D
Complete with the splatter & pops on gear change, the difference in sound from comfort to sport is quite astonishing. :eusa-think:
So, I test drove the car today, I know it's much faster than my Z (0-60 in 4.3) but for some reason it didn't seem faster. I had trouble with the flappy paddle changes too, but I suppose I would get used to that.
Slight problem when I accidentally selected manual gear change & didn't realise...
It's a 1.4 (I think) it has a turbo and it is pretty quick, it's just too "easy" to drive. Seriously every driving instructor in the country should use these. :eusa-think:
Looking forward to test driving my Brothers Mercedes GLA 45 AMG tomorrow (he is signing for it in the morning)
0 - 60 4.3...
Just before we bought the Z we were looking for a Mini for my step-daughters 18th Birthday present.
The number we saw that were described as "excellent condition" that turned out to be right lemons!
I spoke to a guy in Bradford who had exactly the car we were wanting. I explained we had some...
It's hard to believe that they said they couldn't guarantee to get the dents out !!!!
Any body shop worth going to can guarantee to make any car look either like new, or better than new. :eusa-think:
I looked at a few RCZ's before being chosen by mine, but they were all pretty much...
:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:
I hope the RCZ that chose you proves to be everything you hoped for, I'm sure it won't disappoint.
I would have expected a 2015 car to have the modified mounts, mine is a 2013. I have learned over the years however, that sensible and cars does not always follow.
Your problem sounds exactly the same as mine, so it's at least worth asking the question at the dealers.
If your has the...
As the car is brand new, it's a no brainer, straight back to the dealer, test drive with a mechanic in the car & get it sorted FOC.
I had similar issues, it turned out there was a notice from Pug advising a modified top mount be fitted to the front struts. Had this done & all has been well...
This has been a problem that has been raised before on the forum. One such thread viewtopic.php?f=30&t=9625
And another

If you do a search, there are a few more too.
It's almost certainly the wiring, but it's possible that it could be a screen fault.
Hope this helps...
I have the light grey seats in my GT200. They do look white/off white both in photos & in the flesh. It is an excellent choice for the interior
Good point. It's cheaper than the fluid change, and presumably will last long enough to test all future vehicles you may own.
It would also be interesting to see to see what happens if after testing, the fluid shows as OK, and then you ask the garage to test the fluid before changing. My bet...
Yes, I agree too, if that is the actual case.
I wasn't told my brake fluid was tested and needed replacing, simply that it was recommended by Peugeot so hand over the £40 and we will do it.
I may be turning into a sceptical old man, but I am always very suspicious about main dealers "checking...
