    RCZ Resale Value

I knew that name rang a bell

What's my car worth at trade in?

Just one more excuse for dealers to offer less. I bet you anything they don't offer more for petrol engined cars now :eusa-think:

    Black with Silver Arches Tenerife

I was on a coach on the way back to the airport, so no chance of that. Back home now & just washed my Z :D  happy now

    JBL vs standard system

I thought that all the Xenons on the RCZ's were directional. I didn't realise some were not. Was it the earlier ones that weren't, or was it always a choice?

    JBL vs standard system

The Xenons in the RCZ are directional so they turn round the corners ahead of you as you steer - I know not all other cars with Xenons have this feature. I have read on here that many people like the JBL system, some disliking the standard one, others think it's OK. I think it's a matter of...

    Black with Silver Arches Tenerife

It needed a good wash too

    JBL vs standard system

I've not heard the JBL system, but I don't mind the standard system - I often just listen to the 200 horses anyway :eusa-whistle: If you have the option of Xenons, go for that, it's probably the best option offered on the Z. :eusa-think:

    Black with Silver Arches Tenerife

Saw a black one with silver arches just outside Los Christianos, Tenerife this morning, 1st one I've seen this week.

    RCZ Resale Value

If your planning to sell privately, it probably won't make any difference at all to the resale value, it might put a few people off, but you are still likely to get the going price. If you plan to part-ex, dealers seem to jump on anything they can to offer you a bit less, small things wrong with...

GT Line 200BHP Spec and Back to RCZ

There is only one thing in life better than looking at an RCZ, and that's driving an RCZ.

GT Line 200BHP Spec and Back to RCZ

I Don't have the GT Line but I do have the 200GT. Having driven a 156, there is a significant difference, easily noticed as soon as you touch the fun pedal. Mine is a 2013 with (touch wood) little or no issues during its time with me. The sat nav is fine now the software is updated to allow...

New RCZ Owner - Noise after shutdown

You could try spooling the turbo by letting the car run on tickover for a few minutes before turning it off. This is good practice anyway.

2013 RT6 Head unit fascia replacement

You could wrap the old one. I have seen carbon wrap used to good effect round there, don't know if that would cover the damage :eusa-think:

    Mystery rear lights

That would be my first thought, but, I do know the Z has suffered from water ingress in the boot lock, which can cause all kinds of mysterious electrical glitches, so that can't be ruled out either

    Strange noise from door

The fuel filler cap sometimes makes a loud noise on mine, but not noticed the gdoop from the door :eusa-think:

    Strange noise from door

It's not the mirror folding in is it? This can be a bit noisy sometimes

Now that is a Freudian slip if ever I saw one

    Display software mods

I did Chris. I have a different one in there with music on. It's probably in the house somewhere but we have been decorating & had new carpets, so everything was moved. I might find it eventually :eusa-think:

    Disaster averted

On a side note, he asked why I initially asked for Goodyears. I said I intended replacing all the tyres with Goodyears as & when it was necessary. He said that goodyears were not the best choice for a car like mine, and he said Michelin would be a better choice, with better grip & longevity...

    Disaster averted

So, I have an airport run at 5 am tomorrow. Washing the car this afternoon getting it ready for its hols, I spotted a nail head at the very edge of the tread in my rear offside tyre. I knew from its position it couldn't be repaired, so started phoning round for stockists of 235/49/19. Started...
