I did a quick search on Fleabay the other day, I just typed in RCZ. I was looking for something for my Z & I was amazed at the number of RCZ's that are on there for sale.
So as you say, you are in a great position, and can afford to be choosy.
When your Z finds you, you will know
Now that's a good question. Maybe someone that has had it done can advise if there are any visible differences, I think probably not, but some record should be in the service history I would have thought. :eusa-think:
It's not the best photo really, it was already starting to get dark by the time I had finished drying it off.
I too prefer the black arches, but I appreciate it's not everyone's choice. :eusa-think:
From the picture, the car (or what can be seen of it) looks quite tidy, although there does seem to be a little condensation at the base of the windscreen, it might be wise to check there are no damp patches inside the car as water ingress could be a problem. Make sure all the electrics are spot...
This topic has been covered a few times before, or rather the question of whether the heated seat dial turns itself off when the car is turned off.
The positioning of the dial means that when you get in & out of the car, your leg catches the dial and turns it on, or off.
I am not sure why you...
So, it does appear that there can be a small oil leak which can be attributed to the timing chain inspection cover, and that this can be difficult to spot, but no evidence that the R has ever had a timing chain tensioner problem.
Any car, make, model, can have a failure of any part, so it is...
This is the first R I have heard of having a chain/tensioner failure.
The replacement that has been fitted to the MK1's is a modified part, that should not have the same failure rate as the original.
I know the modified part is fitted as standard on the Mk2 RCZ so I assumed this would be the...
So, the Hankook S1 Evo's I put on last year have lasted @ 10k. Maybe the tyres, probably my driving.
I need 2 new boots on the front (remarkably the rears are still the original contis and still showing good tread).
I asked at my local National Tyre Centre about Goodyear assys, and he didn't...
I love the entire effect. The red is a great contrast from the Matt green, and the Matt black carbon goes well with the rest of the car.
It looks great in photos, and I bet it looks even better in the flesh.
Nice job
Mine is from Ireland too. I bought it for my wife's car when we got married as her initials became DK so her car was DK's but couldn't get that so settled for DKZ.
