Nope, no movement on mine. Check the runners underneath & make sure nothing is trapped in there & there are no loose bolts.
Try and move the seat while the car is stationary using your hands, have a listen to see if you can hear anything that sounds loose.
Try adjusting the seat fully to the...
They originally thought it was the release bearing on mine, but then decided it was the dmf. The warranty guy thought the same & approved the replacements.
Like I said, they told me there was nothing wrong with any of the parts removed, yet it does seem to have done the trick (so far).
I had my entire clutch assembly, including flywheel and clutch plate replaced under the Peugeot platinum extended warranty. They said they thought it was the flywheel that had failed and causing the noise, which was just as you describe.
The dealership that did the work said that they couldn’t...
Re: +90.000 miles with the RCZ R (my story)
I discovered after my Brother died that he had insurance on his wheels and tyres. I hadn’t even realised that you could take out seperate insurance against punctures & curbing.
He did have run flat tyres on both his BMW & his Merc, so I suppose the...
Re: +90.000 miles with the RCZ R (my story)
That really sucks  I had almost exactly the same happen to me with my nearside rear just after getting my Z. Fortunately the screw “sealed” itself in the tyre & it didn’t actually deflate, I only saw it because it was near the top of the...
I drove both the 156 & 200 when trying to find my Z. At the time, the R was just round the corner, but not yet on sale.
I have never been in an R & I do find it hard to imagine how much faster than my 200 GT it is. It would be interesting to try one out. :eusa-think:
My first ever company car was a Fiat 128cl special. It did go well, but the bottom of both doors went rusty round about 6 months old
Mind you, I didn’t really see it very often, it spent most of its life in the garage :eusa-whistle:
So, depending on the level you intend to achieve, Kerry (RCZ1) wrote a very comprehensive guide to detailing your car. You can cherry pick the bits you fancy tackling.

Yorkshire meet viewtopic.php?f=16&t=11959
Sadly, I am away for this years meet, but it’s definitely worth the trip.
As for the Lambo, there was a car show in the centre of Wakefield today, loads of customs cars, modded classics, sports etc, supercars, Green Lambos
:greetings-wavingblue: Welcome :text-welcomewave:
I worked at Stourton (Leeds Containerbase) for @ 10 years before I joined the Fire Service. I used to go to Rothwell motor auctions in my lunch hour.
Congratulations on your new ride. Smile time  now, let’s see some pics :D
So, this is no doubt something that everyone else already knew, but I have literally just accidentally found out;
If you have a route programmed in the Sat Nav, if you press the button on the end of the lights stalk (the one you use to turn auto lights on & off) the Sat Nav reads out the last...
Well that’s not right is it! It never fails to amaze me that Peugeot’s own dealers can look at something like that and stand around scratching their heads. :eusa-think: :?:
It’s not rocket science that the distance from the hub to the inner wheel arch isn’t correct. If it was, like every...
My 200 GT uses oil. Probably the most of any car I’ve had. Regular top ups for me I’m afraid, although I have never carried oil round with me. I figure so long as I keep it topped up at home, if the level dropped off the scale on any trip I make, it would need garage attention anyway so while...
My most unreliable car was an Audi 80. The first year I owned it I thought it was the best car I had ever owned, the second year, every trip was like playing Russian Roulette, you never quite knew if you were going to make it or not :wtf:
I think I had an Asda carrier bag in the boot of that...
I have just noticed my Kudos   :o :Moony: :text-bravo: :happy-wavemulticolor:
Thanks (& Kudos) to all that have enjoyed my contributions over the years ;)
